What does Cuisinart DBM-T10 do?
A better version of the Cuisinart dbm-8 is the dbm-t10. For simple control, the dbm-10 Cuisinart grinder includes a close interface with a touchscreen and touchpad. In addition to its slick appearance, this model has a manual option that lets you choose how much you want to grind. The flat burr design because it makes it possible to obtain uniform grinds for best results. With the help of the powerful motor, the grinder can brew 14 cups in five minutes without overheating.
Blade vs. burr
Bladed grinders have rotating blades that spin at high speeds to grind your coffee. These grinders are typically more affordable but produce less consistent results. This is a great coffee pot. Looks great on the counter. Nice big pot. Husband loves the taste of coffee again. The only complaint is when I fill the water well it’s in an awkward spot. So you have trouble getting that last bit of water in there, because the lid on the maker gets in the way. Other then that, it’s a well made machine. Super easy to use to.

It brews decent tasting coffee like other Cuisinarts, but set up and managing the brew process, instant or programmed can be frustrating with the touch menu that disappears.
Also, gives an error message that overides everything with nothing mentioned in support material. ERl code- water spills too easily.

I tried two of these. First one had a cracked interior dome in the bean housing. It was returned and replaced. The second one ran fine, actually did a good job, for 3 months. Then, suddenly, it stopped working. No lights, no grinding, nothing. Fuse was good. Limit switch on grinds box functional. But here is the real irritation:
I called Cuisinart Customer Service. Got a helpful person who asked me to take a picture of the bottom of the unit and email it to a specific email address. Did this. That was over 2 months ago. Have tried 4x in the mean time to contact them. NO RESPONSE. What is with their customer service? This is not a supplier customer service, this is Cuisinart customer service. Terrible service.
This used to be a fairly reliable brand. I have changed my mind.
this review is not so much about the failed unit as about the customer service of the manufacturer.

You would think that for the price and years of experience that Cuisinart could make a caraf that you could pour out of and liquid not run back down the outside of the caraf making a mess everywhere. Also the top of the coffee maker does not open up back far enough for you to be able to pour all of the water out of the caraf. As a coffee maker, it works and makes coffee. For the price, I expected a lot better engineering.
There are no features that would make me spend this amount of money again on this maker. A cheap $30 coffee maker will do the same thing and make less mess.

This is a really cool toaster, you have the toastiness on the left and the type of toast on the right. The toaster counts down until the toast is complete - i thought that was a nifty touch. The toaster only lights up when in use which is nice.

I love this toaster! I bought this for my boyfriends mom and we love the upgrade. The touch-screen feature is great. I love that I’m able to slide the levers up to check the level of toastyness my bread is. I would let the toaster run by itsself before using it for the first time. It has a new burn smell to it but other than that it’s amazing !!!

This Cuisinart coffee maker has great flavor to every cup. The coffee is always hot/warm and great to drink. It is very easy to use which makes using it that much more enjoyable. I would recommend this coffeemaker to anyone and everyone who enjoys drinking coffee.

Classic case of higher sticker price not necessarily translating into better product. On surface, this coffeemaker works well enough–some really nice features once you get use to it: timing and pausing brews, mid-brew pours specifically. But it seems like the most basic, important feature of brewing wasn't field-tested with this machine. Which is to say, that when you add water prior to making your coffee–the flex height of the lid doesn't reach back far enough to allow you to pour the full number of cups you intended.

Great coffee pot. Great flavor, easy to use and I can set the timer to have a fresh pot waiting for me when I get out of bed. The reason I gave it 4 our if 5 is the lid drips condensation water down the back of the machine and onto the counter every time I open it. Not terrible, but still really annoying.

The touchscreen and # of coffee cups display is cool, but tooooo much static electricity and an inconsistent grind size. Recommend spending the extra money on the OXO conical burr grinder!

I love all of the features of this coffee maker but wouldn't purchase it again. It makes a terrible mess. The last cup of coffee in every pot I brew is undrinkable because the grounds go over the top of the filter and into the coffee. Cleaning the grounds out of the coffee maker is difficult and time-consuming. This coffee maker is more trouble than it's worth.

I bought the 2-slice touchscreen toaster from Macy's in July. After 5 months using this toaster every day, I'm getting rid of it. It has some good features like "defrost" setting, but it also has annoying problems:
1. Touch screen accidentally gets pressed, and you end up burning something because you inadvertently hit the wrong button.
2. Wide slots aren't wide enough; have to squish my bagel halves to make them squeeze into the slots.
3. Lever doesn't stay down the first time I push it down, so I always have to push it down twice. I've gotten used to it, but it's annoying.
4. Cross bars inside the slots get caught on Pop-Tarts and break them in half, sending extra crumbs to the bottom of the toaster.

You are unable to empty all the water from the pot because the lid on the coffee maker does not allow you to empty the pot of water when filling the reservoir. Other than that the maker makes hot coffee and the warmer keeps the coffee very warm.

We love the way it looks, works as it should and no issues to date. Only two issues... It does not seem that the brewed coffee coming out of the machine and into the carafe is as hot as it was in the DCC-1200 which this one replaced. Yes, I preheat my carafe so that is not the issue. Temperature of the coffee shouldn't depend on being heated up by the hot plate after it is brewed. The other somewhat annoying thing is that the DCC-T20 has a smaller area to fill the water reservoir so it more difficult to access and it is nearly impossible to full empty the water in the carafe into to water reservoir. It only leaves a bit in the carafe. Also noted that the amount marked in the carafe does not agree with the amount of liquid measurements on the level viewer on the machine. Again, not off by much. So just some minor things, not deal breakers but, if you want to be the best, you need to pay attention to details.

Great little toaster made the toast perfect love the fact I can lift up to see it n drops back down. The flavor n texture was perfect. Love the light up touch screen so nice. This toaster is better then the others no issues n no worrying about having burnt toast again unless u want it burnt.

The box arrived damaged and even though the toaster was wrapped in plastic and had a new looking tag on it, it's filthy and has hand prints and wipe marks all over it... I think this was a returned item.
UPDATE: The toaster ended up not working properly. The left side wouldn't stick down to toast, so I sent it back for a replacement. Our replacement arrived very quickly! It also looks like it is in MUCH better condition and the box was not damaged like the first one we got. So far this one is working properly.
On a positive note, this toaster looks great with our other appliances and is very sleek and I really like how the display is hidden when the toaster is off. Very cool design and the crumb trays are also very discreet and super easy to remove and clean.

I am very disappointed with this model. It is confusing to program, and most annoying, is that I prefer the brewer to beep when brewing is finished. I have tried many variations, but can not get it to work. No response on this from the company.

I have been looking for a new toaster to replace my $19.99 version that still produced great results but looked haggard. I searched endlessly for that perfect combination of sleek design, ease of use and good toast. I had given up until I saw this beauty. Could not wait to get it home and break out the English muffins to see if it was a pass or fail. It passed. Looks fantastic and made perfect toast...very even. Those who said there was a strong smell on first use are correct. It is pretty strong. But that is very normal for electrical appliances as the oil coating burns off. After one or two uses, the small did not persist. I am in love.

We especially like the performance of the "bagel" feature and the way the numbers flash to count-down to the pop-up time. The crumb tray slides out the back easily. Of course the big selling point is its handsome lighted control panel and computerized operations, but it makes evenly toasted bread and bagels and that's what we bought it for.

If you happen to like a dark roasted bean, this grinder will annoy you to no ends. First of all it is incredibly noisy. Secondly , it clogs often and is a pain to clean.

I really wanted to love this coffee maker after CR rated it so highly. The controls were really well thought out and easy to use. We've had it approximately 2 1/2 months. As another review mentioned, the carafe is difficult to get in and out of the warming plate since the top of the carafe has too much contact with the grounds/filter holder. The coffee maker itself has had the CLEAN button go on a lot. No other coffee maker I've had has done this. At the end of the process it sputters and generates a huge amount of steam. So much so that I'm afraid it's going to damage the finish on my cabinets. We're going to pitch it even though it was quite expensive as coffee makers go. The controls were really well thought out and easy to use but the cons outweigh the pros.

It’s really a great product. The coffee is piping hot and we have had no issues with it. Only one time and we had a run vinegar through it to clean but it was a very easy process. This is much better than our old coffee maker!

After years of using a Mr. Coffee I thought I would upgrade when it went. Will say the coffee tastes better with this coffee. Will also say that the permanent filter is useless.. you still need to buy paper filters. And so many times when this machine just makes a mess... the grinds bubble out... you think the coffee pot has stopped dripping, remove the carafe and then end up with coffee on the burner. I will be getting rid of this soon and going back to the cheaper more reliable.

This is a very nice looking burr grinder and very easy to use. Cuisiart uses 5 oz cups so keep this in mind. It seems to do a good job grinding beans, not too noisy, some static and some dust.

We were in touch with the manufacturer. This toaster caused a bad electrical odor that made me ill. We found out the toaster had been discontinued/recalled. The seller should have been awOof this. We told the manufacturer, Conair/Cuisinart we could not send it back because we felt that we needed to hold on to the toaster for examination if my health didn’t improve. I notified Amazon about this and the manufacturer and Amazon made this right. Terrible situation. Inexcusable.

Not easy to slip the carafe on the warming plate. It catches on the bottom of the coffee grounds holder. Also the buzzer didn't work. The screen goes dark except for the clock and a little button to turn the screen on when it's not in use. No knobs jutting out. A real asset. Sorry it didn't work out for me. Later maybe I'll try again, when my Ninja dies.14 cups seems like a lot, but it'll make 4 cups or less easily. Really handy making a full carafe when there's overnite company and the coffee is good and hot!

This grinds well but it kinda compacts it to where it looks clumpy and I have to break it up, so that's annoying to do everytime. Also, all the beans in the hopper don't go down. I have to keep adding way too much time for it to finally catch. I had a grinder f/Amazon that I liked but returned it for the sleeker look of this but wished I hadn't.

The burr grinder does a great job. I like that you can adjust the grind level depending on type of coffee i.e French press, drip, and espresso. Only complaint if any is that the unit is a bit noisy. Transfering the ground coffee to a container is messy if you do a large batch, it seems to stick to the square plastic grind holder. You need to hit the sides to get the last bit of coffee.

Looks great; nice compact size... Works great (so far) and the countdown timer is nice. Had to replace an old cuisinart burr grinder we had for 20 yrs... since the grinder container is plastic, the static can make it a bit messy. Also, not sure if the one side of the grind container looks to be losing its finish on the inside (not glossy anymore).

I'm a big fan of Consumer Reports and they rated this at the top of the list. I owned a similar coffee maker by this same company for seven years and it was excellent. It finally started showing wear and tear and the heating element was fading so I got a new one. This model is super. I've brewed two pots so far and it is a winner. Good heat, looks good, controls are easy to understand, and directions are in clear English as well as a couple of other languages. Excellent.

I really like this coffee maker overall. The touch screen is nice, the look is very minimal especially when off, it’s generally easily programmed (with one problem) and the coffee tastes good. My one disappointment is that it doesn’t remember your bold setting. I have to reset it each time, and it won’t maintain that setting for a program, so we don’t use the program. Bummer. Other positives: you can adjust the temperature of the hot plate, and how long it stays on. Very good overall.

As a replacememt to their other burr grinder, its a good upgrade. It quieter, and seems to be better to operate, however there doesn't seem to be a memory function to return to your previous grind level upon next use and there is a bit of a static issue, with dust and grounds sticking to the grind chamber as you use it. Purchased from Costco.
