First, the blender leaks at the bottom gasket at each use. Does not matter how often you clean, reposition, tighten, nothing stops the leak. You cannot convert frozen fruit into a smoothie without significant intervention. An air bubble forms above the blades and they just spin underneath the mixture. You have to "pop the air bubble" multiple times. Add this to an almost impossible lid to close and open and you have the trifecta of awful. I know this model is discontinued, but avoid any current models with this design.

Blends well and works fantastic, quiet for a blender as well. I'm satisfied.

Not only did this blender disappoint with a "very chunky" smoothie, the company that offers it thru Walmart has a very poor return policy. It cost me $20 to return it and they deducted $12 from my refund for a "re-stock" fee. I'm staying with Amazon

This has a button that claims to make smoothies in under 30 seconds. However the consistency was far from smooth. This was the main purpose of me buying a high performing blender because I started to use smoothies in my daily diet and my other blender died. It took 20-25 minutes to get the consistency to be smoothie-like. I didn't even use ice. I just had some cut up frozen fruit and fresh leafy greens. I was very disappointed.
