Makes a great grilled sandwich. The average slice of bread is actually bigger than the plates but if just making one sandwich you can position it and make it work and since it's just myself in the home I can't complain.

It's compact and doesn't take up a lot of space. It Brown's the bread well. I would recommend it.

We enjoy it. I have been looking for this for a long time and have finally found one. We use it daily and enjoy the meals it gives us quickly and easy. I recommend it for every household.

Heating up sandwich made so easy and fast. I even use it to cook eggs- scrambled, sunny side up or omellet. Also, fully cooked breakfast sausage and bacon heats fast. Very useful for me.

I expected more from Cuisinart. The unit itself is a bit flimsy. I made a simple grilled cheese sandwich and the unit did not toast the bread. It indicated that it was done, but it wasn't. I tried again to make sure it wasn't a fluke and it said the second one was done even earlier. The cheese wasn't even melted. Very disappointing for a Cuisinart product.

Love it, use it a lot (so 4⭐️s) ***BUT*** side by side grill squares to fit bread in are weird size—have to cut sides off one type of bread we use and other bread we use is smaller so doesn’t “seal” so cheese/filling oozes out...

My wife loves it! She's pregnant, so she eats about every 10 seconds and realistically we need 6 of these just to satiate her appetite. An if we run out of bread, dear lord, we are in deep water. Needless to say, it's easy to use and does a good job at it's intended function. The sandwiches come out toasty and are enjoyable.
