A very good grinder and best value for the money. I've used it several times in the month or so I've owned it. Other reviewers are concerned about the "plastic gears" that connect the auger to the motor. But these are high-density nylon gears, such as the type used in car engines. The motor is also quieter than those found in cheaper grinders.

Best Grinder for Old Fashioned Chicken Salad. When you can grind the chicken and the pickles, and the celery and onions all at once, you get a chicken salad that's smooth and consistent. This meat grinder does everything it's supposed to do, and it does it very well. I wouldn't expect less. All my appliances are Cuisinart, so I may be a bit biased.

We bought this grinder for deer meat. It worked very well. We cut 1” square x 4” strips and the Cuisinart grinder pulled it right in. No need to use the plunger. Worked great.

While it is quite loud, it does a decent job of grinding up meat. It does seem to clog up easily though.

Every time I bought hamburger in the grocery store or even the meat store there would be gristle. So when I saw the advertisement for the Cuisinart Electric Meat Grinder I decided this would solve my problem with gristle. Now I buy steak and use the grinder every week. Fantastic product and I do not know how I did without it all these years.

I'm very happy with the results we got from this machine! My 86 year old mom and 90 year old dad have been making sausage with a hand grinder for over 60 years! I've been helping them do it since I was a kid and used to watch and then got promoted to turning the crank handle. The job was hard and took a long time to feed the meat into the binder with one hand and turn the handle with the other. It was a constant stop and go. With this machine doing all the cranking, the steady flow of the process can be kept going till the meat runs out. We typically make 40lbs of sausage at one time and this machine worked well throughout. It also made stuffing the casings easier. The stainless steel pieces are easy to clean and the tools that come with the machine are useful and well thought out. The only thing that worries me about this product are the plastic gears. They worked really well for the first time using it but I wonder how they will hold up over time.
