Arrived exactly when predicted. A tiny dent in the back corner which doesn’t show. Cleaned product and plugged it in on medium setting. It went to work immediately and is virtually silent. Perfect for a student or single person (most refrigerators always seem too large by half to me!) and the energy efficiency is greatly appreciated. Even though I paid for shipping I was amazed at the price. This item appears to have been discontinued, but I guess you never know. Keep an eye out; its worth it!
Update, two weeks later; still good but needs a defrosting already! The manual suggests every six months. I have kept the temperature at 2 (out of 5) as it gets cold super fast. I haven’t done anything out of the ordinary, ie put in
warm foods or overstuff, etc. I’m not overly alarmed but I am watching it very closely.
Ok, second update. A month later. This fridge should be kept on a low setting, between 1 and 2. This keeps it at 3 degrees and the freezer at just a titch below zero. Any setting higher and the frost starts collecting a bit too quickly. Apparently this doesn’t do much to the energy savings but every little bit helps.
