Wow! I can not even begin to express how much I love this coffee grinder. It is like seriously where have you been my entire life and why did I not get this sooner? I absolutely love coffee and would just by the ground coffee because I had tried many coffee grinders that just didn't seem to work well for me. My mornings are time-limited, getting all my morning duty's done on time is important with this DeLonghi Dedica coffee grinder I can start every morning off right. The main body is stainless steel brushed casing. Plated plastic top and a black plastic bottom and a digital readout. You can choose From one to fourteen into a collation vessel for drip or French press. Also, a secret department at the bottom for DeLonghi portal filter You can program how much coffee you wanted to be ground into the porta filler. Adjust the setting of the grinder 1 to 18. Espresso, drip, pour-over or French press. You have a choice of the different setting's for the drip part. Light, normal or strong depending on your taste preferences. The hopper holds half a pound of coffee. The grinder volume is high pitched noise, not a quiet grinder. PROS . I love the option of being able to set the exact grind setting I am looking for. . Options set 1 to 14 depending on how fine you want the grind. For the for drip or French press. CONS . Doesn't grind as fine as I would like, but does the job for your basic coffee. Overall, I am very pleased and happy with this grinder. I see it lasting a long time. The grinder is durable and well built. You can grind from one cup to 14 cups, also it can grind regular or espresso and more. It has its own storage canister and also it's own filter so u can go from grinder to pot in a flash. I decided to try the De'Longhi Dedica Conical Burr Grinder because we wanted to try brewing our own coffee from beans. The De'Longhi grinder is perfect for us. The directions were easy to follow,including all the different ways to grind them. You can program the amount that you want ground,if you use the same every day. It has settings that you can set to make the coffee normal or stronger. That is a good feature to have for us. It worked out good when we had company over.For people who make espresso,it has a setting for that too. It comes with a sturdy brush to clean the grinder out and the other containers are washable.
