I LOVE this machine and have enjoyed using it on my weekends. I do however want to make sure other people are aware if what this machine is and does. First of all, I really recommend getting a grinder to grind your own beans to a very fine consistency to get the best cup of espresso! Secondly, this machine is NOT for those who have a hectic morning schedule and prefer pushing one button on a coffee maker while getting ready before leaving the house. This espresso machine is for people who like to control each step in the process and actually enjoy the artistry of it.
For example, I use this on weekends when I'm off work so I can grind my own beans, tamp them in, and enjoy the process and aroma. This machine comes with a milk frother as well but please keep in mind it does NOT come with a grinder. It comes with instructions which are easy to follow. It has a compact design so it doesn't take up a ton of counter space and has been the perfect addition to my kitchen! If you want to feel like a barista, this is for you! This is our very first espresso/cappuccino machine. I was not sure what to expect but , I learned I really like it. It is so easy to use and clean. The directions walk you through it step by step. It does not take long at all to come up to temperature. It is a little louder than I was expecting. The espresso that it made was perfect. I love this espresso and cappuccino machine. It's super easy to use . The instructions are helpful . It's easy to clean . I usually drink 3 cups a day and this makes it so much better. I'm more of a cold coffee person and all you have to do is mix this in with milk. You can use it with cold or hot. I usually buy whole bean and grind it up then use it for the espresso part. This espresso machine is amazing works great there isn't one thing i would change besides the clearance of the dispensing you have to use small cups. This machine makes amazing coffee super convenient and easy to use. It also has a milk steamer that works wonder for your coffee. This works great and is saving me money! First I would like to add that you should get espresso ground coffee, I noticed it tasted better than normal ground coffee. I wish there was a setting where it auto turned off when done brewing 1 or 2 shots of espresso. You have to watch it otherwise it will overflow your cup. Second, it vibrates hard and moves your cup so you have to hold your cup while brewing.
Other than that, it's perfect! The machine heats up quickly and the frother is perfect. Other reviews said to buy you own tamper but the one included works just fine for me.
We made hot lattes and cold lattes and both tasted like they came from a coffee shop.
What makes this a winner is that I can make my coffee for the day in less than 10 minutes! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
