I have been wanting an air fryer for awhile now. I am 100% satisfied with the Elite Platinum XL Deluxe. I love that I can have fried food that is healthy without any added fat or cholesterol. There is a timer function which can be adjusted up to 60 minutes and automatically shuts off when complete. I can choose a temperature range between 210 - 400 degrees Fahrenheit. My food is delicious and full of flavor. This air fryer gets food cooked very fast. I was shocked at how extra large this is so it cooks so much at once. So if you are wanting food that tastes close to deep fried or pan fried - this really isn't for you. The taste of most things that come out of it is really close to what you get out of an oven but takes a bit longer to get there. Even with its large size it only cooks everything evenly if you lay out the food in a single layer - if you stack things you get very uneven cooking. The outside also gets very hot - almost too hot to touch and the controls feel like they are 20 years old. It actually uses an analog time dial that controls how long the food cooks which does not stop when you pull food out to stir it. The handle also started coming apart after just a few days. I have always wanted an air fryer and I am so happy I got this one. The amount of food it hold is endless and the food turned out great. I was so skeptical in the beginninv about an air fryer. I was wondering how could something cook food with hot air? The very first time I used this air fryer I instantly fell in love. I made chicken wings the very first time I used it and they were awesome. The wings came out crispy lime I deep fried them. The chicken was cooked all the way through. It seems like you can taste the seasoning much better than when yku fry it in grease. I love that you can set settings for certain things you cook and makes a "Ding" like a microwave when the food is done. This is one of the best produ ts introduved in a very long time. First off this fryer is huge!!!! I was so impressed with the food capacity. It's not heavy at all. Having never owned an air fryer before, it was pretty easy to understand and use. I was really excites when I got this and couldn't wait to start using my new air fryer. The Elite Platinum XL Deluxe 7qt Air Fryer works great with easy to follow instructions. You have to have the timer and temperature on for the air fryer to work. If you read the instructions it's very simple to use. I made fries, chicken, corn on the cob and pizza rolls to name a few things. Fries are nice and chunchy, corn nice and crisp and chicken was nice and juicy. I really like that the there are pictures with temperatures and time on the air fryer to get you started right away. It cooks without oil so food is healthier. Having a family of 7 this makes it easy to cook enough with the 7 qt. I love that it doesnt heat up the kitchen like using the oven and it cooks really quickly. I have to cook separate from my family members because I eat and cook gluten free. Sometimes my family eats gluten free with me but not always. This is a great alternative to cooking my food separate from regular food. This is really nice to cook things in instead of heating up the entire kitchen with the oven. Especially for smaller items. I really like the handle, and the timer as well. The air fryer heats up really fast, and I like that it's easy to clean. There are several food items on the top of the air fryer and what temperature to cook them at which really comes in handy if you're in a hurry or forget. I pulled this right out of the box and started using it to cook with. I was not sure how I would like it, but the food taste fantastic. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite kitchen gadgets! It's big basket holds enough food for my family of 5. Frozen tots and fries have never been so tasty.
