I have tried to set a temperature to bake a product and the thermostat seems to be off as much as 50 degrees. I set it at 375 degrees, i had 3 thermometers (2 mechanical and 1 digital) and all three showed a constant temperature @ 425 degrees. Has anyone else had this problem?

First; love it. Second; criticisms. I had a Ron Popeil chicken rotisserie. It was so easy to use. This isn't. With the Elite (Platinum) if I truss the bottom of the chicken, then put it on the spindle, manage to get the spears in, then tie it up, I can get it to work sufficiently. The Rob Popeil had a stand, you put two spindles in the bird that go on a metal round on each end, you put it in the rotisserie and you are all done with that part. It was so easy. Set the timer, and forget it until the bell goes off. And, oh, so good. This oh so good, too, once cooked, but, more difficult to get the bird on. The spears should be wider. And, maybe even 4 pronged. I love the vegetable steamer. But, I wish the unit were a bit taller so the vegetable steamer could be a bit deeper. The vegetables are difficult to get out as they fall out when you are trying to spoon them out and the dish is so big -- do you have a bowl big enough to accommodate that? I don't. So, I manage. But, the veggies taste splendid! If your bird is a bit big, turn that veggie pan upside down. That works great. Make sure to use oven mitts if it's hot! I love the way the food comes out. I did not think I would like convection as I thought it might dry the food too much. But, I am not finding that to be the case. The food cooks quicker because of the hot air flow -- and they taste real good, too. I love the timer. And, I really like that I can buy a square cake pan and use that. And, even if I have to cook in two or more batches, the smaller pans are so much easier to clean than a big cookie sheet or roasting pan; even if you use more than one oven to cook, say, Thanksgiving dinner. The parts of this product, that I don't like, I can get around. Overall, I really like it.
