Eternal 2 Piece Manual Burr Coffee Grinder Set Reviews

I bought this for camping, and for other situations where portability is needed, and I was not disappointed. No electricity needed! I also like the adjustable grind feature, and the storage jar for already ground coffee. So glad I bought this!

Excellent coffee burr grinder

Poor, inconsistent grind. Cheap knock-off. Not as pictured. Not even the same as the picture on the box it came in. For around $22 you can find a few similar looking grinders that are identical to the well known Japanese brand that sells for $40-50. This one is NOT. The ceramic burr grinders were already chipped. The grinding mechanism is to loose and will grind course along with fine with no consistent grind of either. With makes it bad for poor-over coffee making. The handle knob is loosely riveted and weak, I expect it to break off soon.

I bought this coffee grinder for the sole purpose to grind flax seeds. It does grind them but extremely slowly so its a real chore to undertake. Takes ages to get a quarter teaspoon's worth. Wish i had invested in an actual flaxseed grinder. Am sure the product grinds coffee beans well but haven't tried it for this purpose yet.

I'm by no means a "coffee snob" but I *do* like my coffee. This grinder stands head and shoulders above any blade grinder I've tried. Worth the cranking effort to get a fresh, even, predictable cup of wakeup juice. Only takes about 45 seconds of cranking for a couple of cups' worth of ground coffee. Returns are well worth the effort!

The grinder is adjustable for course or super fine powder. The coffee beans did not slide down into the grinder automatically. I had to stop and push them down.

Customer service was excellent. First shipment was poorly packed and arrived broken but company immediately shipped another with no problem. I have never used a manual grinder before so it would have been nice if the package included some instructions on care and use. It took me awhile to figure out how to adjust the grind. Also, it requires a fair amount of muscle so I won't be grinding large quantities which is okay because I am the only one I in our house likely to want fresh ground coffee. Any recommendation to friends would depend on how they planned to use the grinder. Not adequate for people who drink a lot of coffee and could be difficult to use for anyone with arthritis in the hands.

It works pretty well. First manual coffee grinder I've ever had! It does the job & I get a work out!
