Farberware (FMO13AHTBKI) 1.3 Cu. Ft. 1100-Watt Microwave Oven Reviews

The Farberware Microwave Oven is 1100 watts and heats food quickly and well. I use a microwave mostly to reheat leftovers or to make popcorn, hot tea, or hot chocolate. I usually just use the Express Cook keys to select how long to heat up a meal, hot drink, or popcorn (even though there is a “Popcorn” button). I also use the microwave to defrost food from my freezer (meat, bread, etc.). This unit allows you to choose a Power Level, which is good for heating up baked goods or bread so the food gets warm but not hard. Features I really like include a Kitchen Timer, which is very handy and the first time I've seen it on a microwave oven. Another good feature is the “Start/+30 Sec.” where you can increase cooking time by 30 seconds with each press of the Start button. You can also add time while cooking or defrosting. There is a choice between Weight Defrost and Time Defrost, but these are standard features in most microwave ovens, as is the Popcorn button. I tried Sensor Cook a couple of times, but it doesn't shut off when the food is hot – I canceled the operation when I could smell the food and it was way to hot. I don't trust that feature right now. There are other functions such as “Memory”, Mult-Stage Cooking”, “Inquiring”, “Lock Function for Children”, and “Cooking End Reminding”. I'm not sure how much I would use these functions, as I really don't cook a meal from scratch in a microwave, but they may be handy to some people. There is also an Energy Saver Mode, which would be good if someone uses the microwave oven for preparing meals. The features I do not care for: (1) There is no Beverage button, which I like to use; (2) The Stop button is not easily seen (even though it's red, the print is small and it's in the lower-left corner of the keypad); the interior light is on the left side of the oven, not at the top, and is not as bright as I am used to; the interior of the oven is dark grey, which makes it seem even dimmer and may hide dirt (maybe not the best idea). In summary, the Farberware Oven is a decent size with good wattage and heats well. It has a lot of features that are helpful and new (at least to me), but there are some drawbacks as well.

I was really impressed with all the features this microwave has! It has smart features that knows just how long to cook or heat up foods. You can defrost, reheat, or cook with this awesome appliance. It has a very wide and deep capacity, large enough to fit a whole turkey or ham to cook in it. The design is very trendy and attractive in appearance. It even has a child lock safety feature on it, to keep children from opening the door and possibly getting burnt by hot food. You can either choose to use this feature or not, which is nice. I absolutely love my new and beautiful microwave. I would highly recommend this product!

The Faberware microwave in stainless steel is a stylish and no hassle microwave for all your cooking needs. Easy to program, easy to use. Microwaving is fun again. I love the sleek metal design. It goes with my kitchen decor. Functional and beautiful. This even worked at heating a potato without much effort. The potato thoroughly cooked. This I find is the hardest task for a microwave oven. The Faberware succeeded.

Microwave Oven by Farberware Model #FMO13AHTBKI 1100W This microwave oven is replacing my old oven that I have had for six years (still working) I really like the features that the new microwave oven has some of them were not available on the older models. One of the features I enjoy a lot is the Sensor cook, this takes the guess work out of reheats it works on the temperature of the steam emanating from the food and when it reaches a certain temperature the oven will shut off. How easy is that? I think one of the features I have used the most is the Weight Defrost and Time Defrost, by using these features I can keep the food frozen till its time to cook it. This eliminates having to remove food items and thaw them on the counter at room temperature which can create a lot of bacteria in your food. Now, for those who want to know the really important question " does it do popcorn?" Yes perfectly! This Microwave oven comes with so many different features I would have to write a book to explain all the features but as luck would have it.. You get an instruction manual which explains all the functions. It has a one year warranty. I would recommend this product to anyone in the market for a Microwave Oven..

The Faberware model FMO13AHTBKl 1.3 microwave oven w/ sensor is much better than id thought, it has several more button functions to it than my other microwave. For one thing this microwave has a Start button that cooks things for only the so seconds but if hit twice increases the cooking time by another 30 seconds etc. it has a sensor cook, time defrost, weight defrost and many other functions -even a kitchen timer! Even the interior is different -its grey. It came with a easy to follow manual. This is without a doubt a superior microwave to own. I would recommend this model to anyone looking to upgrade. One cannot go wrong when buying from the Farberware brand.

I was so excited to receive this microwave because my previous microwave was quite big and clunky. I love that this microwave oven is compact and I love the sleek design. It has several different settings for cooking and reheating. Definitely would recommend this.

I love this microwave the sensor reheat is awesome. Heats in minutes!!!, Very nice design and looks great in my kitchen. Simple to understand the instructions. I was surprised at the size I thought it was a smaller microwave but it is a nice full size. I have square dishes that I could not use in my old microwave but they fit nicely for reheats in this product. The defrost by weight is also a very nice option most I have used starts to cook your product but not this one just defrosts nicely. I will get much use of this microwave. Everyone can always use a new microwave, and when I saw this particular Farberware FMO13AHTBKI 1.3 Microwave Oven GREEN LED w SENSOR 1100 Watts Stainless/Black body/black non-tinted window in this Spark Review campaign, I jumped on it! Altho it was delayed being shipped to me, I was tickled pink when it finally did arrive! This microwave is very nice! It has buttons for just about everything! That was really cool. It even has a cancel button, to turn the light for the digital clock off! Way cool! I can't wait to try out all of the features it has. I mean, frozen or fresh veggies, potatoes, frozen pizza, weight thawing, and the back inside is bowed out to allow for a pizza or large plate/bowl to heat or reheat. I really like this microwave! Yes, I would recommend it!

I was expecting a “dorm” size microwave but was pleasantly surprised when I saw the interior of this . Big enough for dinner plates etc. I love the quick hit buttons for pizza, popcorn and defrosting. The exterior is sleek and modern . Farberware always makes a great product .

This is a really nice microwave. The one-touch programs are super convenient and I have been using the express cooking option a lot. I love the sleek look of stainless steel so it matched my other kitchen appliances. I sometimes use the LED display and lighting, but it's not a necessity for me. All in all this is a nice upgrade from my current microwave. It fits perfect on my counter and is also easy to clean!
