This grill is quite good - rather well designed, which we have found with Farberware products in general, does what it is supposed to do. The easy care grill plates can be removed for cleaning and reinsertion easily, quite literally they are snap-out-and-in. One reason for my not awarding it five stars is that the temperature control does not function while actually using the grill with "grill" selected, but does work for the other tasks. Apparently the designers expected that people would wish to grill only at full heat, but not at full heat while using it for its other purposes. One can overcome this if they wish by turning the switch to "griddle" and then using the temperature control while grilling. Another reason for the four star rating is that the entire grease drip cup situation could have been better thought out - the cup(s) aren't actually retained by the grill but sit independently and can easily work out of position.
This replaces another grill which does not have removable grill plates and is much more convenient regarding cleaning. Good service as usual from Walmart's order online and then pick up at the store option.

I just picked this up yesterday so I could make burgers. I am very picky on how my meat is cooked (if it has any pink I won't eat it). This is the first time I have made burgers where they were successfully cooked through all the way and not burnt. I was beyond excited. We also used the grill part to cook bacon and it also worked great. I would highly recommend this product!!! Also, I really like how the grill plates completely detach for easier cleanup!

I have to honestly say after having another named grill I was so much more pleased with my Farberware .. So glad I decided to try a different brand .. I have a Farberware pots and pans set that I have had since my wedding shower ( in 1953 ) , which helped me to decide on this Farberware product .. :-) Thank you for having it available for me..

This item was purchased as a gift. Just was speaking with one of the people purchased it for and they were getting ready to grill burgers. They're grilling up a storm; chicken, steaks you name it!!!!! Love it. Easy cleaning too. Farberware has an excellence in name quality.

I had a pan I was using as a grill and was so not thrilled with the outcome of my steak. My girlfriend had an electric grill and told me to give it a try. I went on line and found this one. I fell in love with the first time I used it and will continue to use it for all my cooking on the stove. It keeps everything perfect all the time for cooked etc: eggs, bacon, hamburger, steaks. and bread cooking. I highly recommend this item to all who view this rating as I would give it more that 5 star but that is as far as it goes.

I love my 4 in 1! It drains the fat adiquately-not as much as a Foreman grill but the "humpy" feature of the grill keeps the meat mostly out of the grease. And I wanted a griddle on which I could cook eggs without their draining off the griddle so I did want a flatter one than the Foreman type. I am experimenting with putting something under the side of the grill to make it drain faster (just for easier clean up grease removal.) Will need a few more trys to perfect. Clean up is easy anyway. I don't bother putting it in the dishwasher. I just wipe it off with paper towels and use a sponge with a little soap. One problem is that when you raise the top of the grill, grease drips off the top onto the counter behind the grill. A couple of paper towels on the counter fixes this to my satisfaction. The only "con" I can think of is that it does take up a lot of room. It is worth it to me. I have had the grill about a month, used it at least 10 or 12 times but have not had it long enough to address durability.

If you are looking for a grill that you can remove the plates and you can grill and griddle at the same time, look no further!!!

Love it so far. The grill/griddle plates go off & on with ease. That makes it easy to keep clean. I'm not so crazy about the plastic grease cups, but other than that no complaints.

Works great... love the temp setting unlike my old george forman. Also really like the ability to put the plates in the dishwasher. The grease catcher could be improved but still works fine. I use it most on our family vacations where i dont have a full kitchen. I use it to make bacon and eggs in the morning and hot dogs and hamburgers for lunch.
