I bought this same refrigerator 15 years ago when I first moved into my home and it is still working great, including the ice maker. Fridge does make some interesting noises but has done so for ages. I have had no problems breaking handles, ice maker or poor cooling. Did remove the lower cover on the rear and clean the accumulated dust off of the coil and compressor about 6-8 years ago, probably time to do that again! For the money a good product... I am writing about product and service as I have contacted Frigidaire many times with no solution. It worked well for 8 months and then freezer compartment would go to -23 and the lower compartment would go over 40 degrees F. The duct from the freezer would get blocked with ice. Service person would have to melt the ice from the duct. Temperature control poor as the freezer would go from -23 to +19 and the fresh food would be subjected to temperatures from 29 to 42 degrees. Controls set as recommended. I need to run the freezer control up and down daily to stop the ice from blocking the refrigerator. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

brand new first time plugged in to runl Does not cool, reported to your company,. got person with rude attitude... need replacement am not pleased at all terribly disappointed. will not ever by this brand again! am waiting call for service person to come and check but must await 'call' for date... If I do not answer call after 3 tries, I was told I will be taken off the service list. In the mean time, no refrigerator... I expected excellence got run around
