I appreciate that customer service has responded to my inquiries about the noise and whether or not it affects the longevity of my brand new refrigerator. We bought this as a second fridge. We got the first one and the freezer would not get cold enough. Ice cream melting, bread wouldn't freeze, etc. So we had it checked and they said it was a refrigerant leak. So we returned it and got another one. This one performed slightly better but still cannot fully freeze any bread and other types of items even with freezer setting the coldest. Fridge works great. Works fine but the door has to be pushed firmly closed everytime. I have never experience a fridge where you have to be so diligent of making sure the door is closed. A gentle push doesn't do it like most. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The fridge makes grinding, popping and diesel motor sounds. Frigidaire's service rep said that the noise is normal. I don't believe that nonsense for a second.
