Frigidaire (EFMIS462) Portable Retro 12-Can Mini Fridge Reviews

I keep this mini fridge in my classroom. It's the perfect size to store my lunch or snacks for the day. The package also includes a portable charger, so you could plug the fridge in the lighter compartment and keep items cold in your car. When thinking about those who need to keep medication cold, this may be a use tool when traveling in a car. I've kept yogurt, drinks,frozen foods, smoothies, etc. In the fridge and everything was chilled and satisfying.

There are pros and cons to this mini fridge. Pros: Size- fits 6 bottles or 12 cans, doesn't take a TON of space up Settings- there are both heat and cool settings. As another reviewer stated it takes a little under an hour to reach “cool” or “warm” settings. Why a warm setting? This would be great for a hot towel or to keep a lunch warm that you can't eat right away. Look- it's retro looking as stated. Timeless to me. Travel- you can plug this in to a lighter outlet in the car. That's super nice if taking a longer road trip with perishables if you don't have access to a good cooler. Cons: Noise- because of its size, it's a little louder because of the power I'm assuming to get it to actually cool and being compact in battery size perhaps? It's kind of just like light white noise. Temp- I wish it could get a little cooler, it's cold but not the temp I personally prefer my beverages. I liked it ice cold, this is better than room temp for sure though. Overall, I'd recommend it for a smaller fridge, my husband would not because he wants his drinks perfectly chilled. I think the pros outweigh the cons.

This mini beverage cooler is adorable but is just that, a beverage cooler. I was surprised to read in the user's manual that any lunch meats, dairy products, etc. can only be safely kept inside for an hour. It's also sort of just an empty box- no shelves or any frills like that. So I would not get this expecting to have a full blown mini fridge. For a beverage cooler (or warmer,) however, it is totally ideal!

I received the FRIGIDAIRE, 12 CAN MINI RETRO BEVERAGE FRIDGE, BLACK and am absolutely in love with it! It is so cute. The black is very sleek and the retro vibe is groovy. I tested it out upon receiving it and it worked perfectly. It cooled down took exactly 45 minutes and to my surprise was cold to the touch. I tried it again with the heat up and worked very well too. I imagine that it won't as much when hooked up for travel un the car, but I imagine if you super-cool or pre-heat it the evening before it should do well the next day. We've already used it to take warm food with us over to a family dinner and it stayed warm and fresh the entire time. Right now I use it to keep a few sodas cold for me, but I also have been keeping and expensive bottle of moisturizer in there suggested by my dermatologist. The uses are endless. I am very satisfied.

I received the FRIGIDAIRE, 12 CAN MINI RETRO BEVERAGE FRIDGE, BLACK and was quite surprised by how well it worked. The retro look is very modern and sleek. It has plenty of room for such a compact size. The cool down and heat up were perfectly adequate at 45 minutes a piece either way. We've used it multiple times for either necessity and have been very pleased with it. When used in a vehicle I would reccomend more for maintaining temperature either hot or cold.

I am not satisfied at all with this mini fridge. The main problem with it is that it's super small, and not put together well. It has a warming function, which is a pretty cool idea, It would work perfectly to keep some food warm. It's designed with a switch on the back that lets you switch it from cool to hot. When I first turned it on, it was on hot, and the red light was illuminated. I tried to switch it back to cool, but it wouldn't switch to cold. I took a closer look and noticed that the red light protruded out of the switch panel, but the green one did not. I then tried to switch it to cool again, the switch seemed like it wouldn't go far enough over, so I pressed on the switch gently to try and get it to switch over, and the switch fell out of the switch panel, into the body of the mini fridge. The finish isn't bad, but it's not very good either. The edges seem kind of rough, and there are a couple dimples from the molding process. This is a cheap, low quality product.

I like this small fridge. It's perfect for my bottle of waters. It can hold 6 16oz which is perfect for people who drink water through the night. The drinks don't get to cold, but it is made for cool not cold. Nice product. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family. The down side is it has a small buzz to it, but I didn't mind. I still was able to sleep.

This unit is not technically a refrigerator. It is not quality or cold as a true fridge.It doesn't keep drinks any cooler than 44 to 50 degrees. It also has a warm , off and cool settings with the flip of a switch. It's not very loud at all but feels and looks cheap. Made of plastic and very light weight. Okay for drinks but I wouldn't store any food in this unit.It just never gets cold enough for that. So I will just put bottled water in it .It comes with 2 cords one for standard wall and another for a vehicle and instructions.I'm writing this review for the Walmart Spark reviews program and I don't recommend this cooler.

This is a cool retro mini fridge that can hold up to 12 cans of pop. It's great for an office or RV or even a car! There is a hook up that can plug into the car charger! Or you can plug in a regular plug. This is the coolest little fridge and it does the job well. There's also a latch that locks the lid/door closed so it doesn't accidentally open.

I absolutely love this little refrigerator. It easily holds 12 cans or a combination of cans and water bottles or whatever else you need to keep cold. It is the perfect size to keep in my office at work and has a beautiful, sleek design. It also keeps drinks ice cold! It includes 2 plugs, one to use in the car and one for in the house so I can easily take it on the go. The retro design is adorable and looks great in any room. I highly recommend this reasonably priced Frigidaire for ice cold drinks in the house, office or even in the car!
