I received this from my husband for Christmas. Ok, I ordered it after reviewing what seemed like tons of convection oven/air fryer. I had a convection oven years ago and loved it until it got damaged. Today I tried it out for the first time. Before doing so, I did line the crumb tray with aluminum foil. Below are the pros and cons: Pros: - Large size and nice look. It's about the same size as my microwave or maybe a tad bigger. - I like all the accessories that come with it. - Air Fryer: It does cook quickly. I used the air fryer to make pot stickers and it took about 15 min for about 10-12 of them as opposed to my small air fryer which takes about 20 min and i have to flip them over half way through. They were crispy on the outside and hot on the inside. - It bakes well but you have to watch the food or use a bit lower temp so it doesn't burn before food is cooked. Cons: - You really have to watch the food. I baked a banana bread and the outside got dark quicker than normal. I had to end up putting aluminum foil over the bread so it wouldn't darken further but it still came out dark. It tastes good, just looks like it burned some. The pot stickers i made in the air fryer got dark on the edges, especially one in the back of the oven. - Timing and heat - It's a matter of figuring out the right timing and heat. I figure because it's a more smaller and compact oven, it will bake differently. So just figuring the right time and temp for things will take practice. Next time i will try baking at a little bit lower temp. - As everyone said, there is a small gap between the doors. I pinched the two bars together and it it closed it more so i may try to find a metal piece similar to what you find on a tong to keep it closed to see if i can keep the door closed more. It didn't seem to affect the baking/air frying any. - The timer could be better with more numbers instead of just guestimating. - It makes a periodic knocking sound when it's baking. It's not continuous, but it's every so often. I've had some heating appliances do this but not as much. It does get hot on the top and the glass but the sides and underneath just remain warm. The handles stay cool. I like the fact the doors close on their own when pushed a bit. I don't have an issue with the size of the writing, although the timer could be better. I use the timer on my phone as well so that helps. I hope this has helped someone. Nothing is perfect. You just have to figure out how to work it and then it will be good. This review is after the first use so i'm not sure how things will be down the road. If anything goes wrong, i will update.

Very nice product other than if you are doing a rotisserie chicken or anything with any juices that will be dropping to the drip tray be sure to put some aluminum foil around the drip tray and form a wall or dam type ring around the drip tray with the foil as not to drip through the corner at the back of the product and ends up on to the countertop as mine did if it’s unlevel the slightest bit . As long as you do that it is an absolutely awesome item I actually purchased three more for Christmas gifts! Plenty of room bigger than most rotisserie ovens I have seen by other companies.

I was able to roast a 12 lb turkey in it for thanksgiving with room to spare. Also does a great job on French fries.

I gave this as a gift and they couldn't stop bragging on it . They loved it !!!!

I bought this because of the size. I don't have time to do batches of food and keep what is cooked warm. This is a great size for me. I also use it as a toaster oven and I rarely have to use the oven. It comes with an air fry basket and a rack which is very handy. It is rather large, so you do need counter space to house it, but that is what I wanted. I don't like the timer. Not easy to preheat and the knob is hard to get the exact time right. It is also hard to get your food out without making a mess on the counter .O Overall I am happy with the oven.

I ended up returning this oven because it didn't do anything well. I had to babysit it when I made toast or it would burn. I attempted to air fry tater tots and when they looked done on the outside, they were still cold in the middle. I made cookies and they burned in just a few minutes.

Bigger than expected but I love it! Does exactly what I wanted. Couldnt be happier with the options I get from this can do up to a 5lb chicken perfect for us

The front above the doors has turned yellow. You have to turn your food or it burns on one side. Would like to return. Only had it 3 weeks.

Works great with everything I have tried. The only downside is a poorly written Users Manual and Replacement Parts support here in the US. I have done a thorough search online and have found no mention of replacement parts for Galanz products anywhere. I would like to buy a replacement skewer.

I have not used my oven in weeks.

I bought this about a month ago and I am in love. I have been using toaster ovens vs. a stove for decades. I like them on the counter/eye level and I don't have to heat the whole house. I am single and usually cook the basics and with the oven and with a microwave I'm good to go. This guy is large but fits perfectly under the cabinets. And since my house was built in the 50's it fits perfectly with my green/yellow retro kitchen with red accents. I have previously had Black and Decker toaster ovens and convection ovens and my last one was a Cuisinart with an air fryer. ABSOLUTELY, hated it. It heated way too hot, the timer didn't work and I burned everything. I had it for only a year and gave it to my brother when I decided to try this one. What a difference! It cooks evenly and perfectly. I baked a pie for Thanksgiving and NO burnt edges. What a happy day. I was also able to cook 3 items at once! What a bonus. I'm looking forward to trying out the dehydrator to make doggie treats and I'm purchasing a baking sheet to make cookies! I also like the bright light inside. I can see everything easily. The things that require a learning curve are the french doors. I need to make sure they open all the way to stay open. I ended up buying 3 trivets to place on top so that I can store the air fry rack easily and it won't scratch metal to metal. I wish the instructions from the company would have had more cooking suggestions and/or recipes. No biggie. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this purchase and I am looking forward to using it for many, many years.

I do not recommend this air fryer/toaster oven. It is difficult to gauge the temperature. The doors have a small gap between them...even though it measured it just seems bigger than I thought. For the price it has very low quality features. I missed my 30-day return window unfortunately. Buy something better!!!

This thing is gigantic. Make sure you have a large kitchen counter, and are ready for this unit to take up most of the space. There's a protrusion on the back, that makes it stick out pretty far, so I recommend throwing this in a corner. It works really well, and I don't get the same depressing feeling from eating fatty foods, because all the fat drips through the bottom of the mesh grill.

I'm not happy with the purchase, the oven is working properly, it does the job, it gets quite hot, in fact the whole kitchen seems to get hot, but the paint around the oven seems to be damaging from the heat and the doors do not seem to be aligned for what it is something difficult to close them, I am seriously thinking of returning it.

42L is ~1.5 cu ft and I am satisfied with the size. It heats up fast as well. Nice looking French doors. Worth the money

Why don’t more products tell you how to cook with a convection oven or air fryer? This product has already saved me so much time. I was able to get rid of 3 other appliances when I got this.

I have been looking for a counter top oven for sometime. I was impressed with the style and prices of this unit. Love the French door opening. It is somewhat bigger than I expected,but look great on my counter. The negatives are, there is a gap between the doors which allows heat to escape, it seems to cook faster due to not being able to accurately setting the temp AND, there is no shut off button if you wish to stop it before the timer runs out! This seems like it could be a safety hazard. So buyer beware.

Was able to clear my countertop to one item.There is nothing that I didn’t like about this item. The only problem I noticed was after I ordered and received item the price went down. But it was worth it for me

I purchased 2 of these. First one did not keep temperature. Set the temp at 400 and it went to 500. Set it at 200 and it went to 300. Same exact problem with the replacement. I do not recommend.

I am unable to find replacement parts -additional oven rack and pan-for this unit. Calling them direct "parts are unavailable . No idea when they will be." Sadly disappointed that they sell this product and don't back it up with replacements.

Air fried food was the same as oil fried. Toaster feature works great and the device is easy t use.

Works well even the air fryer. A little thin in the cabinet but looks well and works great.

When I have to either get a flashlight or even put on my reading glasses just to read the lettering around the dials, that's unacceptable. The lettering in some places, while gorgeous silver coloring, was not even fully applied to the surface of the oven, closest to the door edge. With that lack of detail one has to wonder what other shortcuts were left undone. NEVER even plugged the oven in. Returned it for a full refund. I so wanted to love it, too. Too bad the Galanz lacks quality control and allowed the defects. Would not recommend at all.

So far it’s exactly what we needed! Haven’t used it a ton because it does heat up the house, so we’re waiting on delivery of a little table to put it outside until the heat subsides in AZ. But, it’s the perfect size and does all the things we need it to! Highly recommend, especially for those who are trying to eat at home more ?

I really wanted to get an air fryer that had a large capacity so I did not have to cook things in batches. Unfortunately the air fryer setting on this never cooks food in the time that it should, always taking longer than recipes and package instructions state. Sometimes twice as long. When you open the door to check on the food, the doors close very slowly, allowing heat loss. Also the exterior of this unit gets hot! The temperature knob is also hard to read. You can't be sure what you are setting the oven to. The oven is very nice looking however, and I am sure the many other features will work well, unfortunately I wanted an air fryer, and since I have two ovens in my kitchen, this one will go in the garage to be used on holidays and for keeping food warm. In short if you need an air fryer, keep looking.

Love that I can fit a 9x13 casserole dish in it. So far I have used Bake, Toast, Dehydrator, Air Fryer, & Broil settings and it Works Beautifully!

I wanted a toaster oven that would do just about everything, along with the ease of getting food items in and out quickly without having to watch my hands to get burned this product does it. The door space open nicely and closes automatic slowly. The crumb tray is a blessing clean up a breeze. Extremely happy this the item.

The headline says it all. My family uses the toaster oven every day, usually 2-3 times between four people. I have had no less than 10 toaster ovens in my life in my quest to find one that cooks perfectly, looks good, and is durable. This toaster oven fits the bill for the cooking and looks good parts. HOWEVER the timer is a dial and there is NO WAY to set a specific time, only "guestimate" based on the position of the dial. The other issue is the double doors, within 48 hours of receiving and using they will not stay open ! If you design double doors for looks and use they need to WORK PROPERLY. Contacted the seller and NOBODY RESPONDED. 5 stars for cooking and looks, 1 star for timer and door hinges.

We have had it 2 months and the doors no longer shut. They were sticking and difficult to close. Now they just won’t close. The doors also have a gap in front that’s part of the design. The unit gets very hot and heats up the kitchen. I make a point of saying this because the description says it won’t heat the kitchen. The fan started to make a bad noise. This thing was not quiet to begin with. If you tap on the side of it, the fan quiets down. Absolutely not worth the money. Will not buy this brand again.

Just received this oven. It’s beautiful! Can’t wait to start cooking with it!

I like it and it integrates seamlessly into my kitchen, but the rotisserie is an issue. The prongs are too short and there really should be 4 prongs on each end to stabilize the chicken. I had to remove the chicken several times to adjust the prongs. This was the most inefficient rotisserie I've ever used. The air fryer was hands down the best. As well as the convection feature. I know I wanted to get an air fryer and toaster oven combo. So I looked at all the various choices out there in this price range. The Cuisinart was the most popular, and I liked the simple controls. But it just wasn't big enough for my family of 5. Then I found this Galanz french door air fryer oven. It checked off all the marks I was looking for: air fryer and oven combo, large capacity, simple dial controls, affordable price. I've been using it for about a month now, and I can say I am very happy with it. It's not perfect, and has some flaws, but overall it's good enough for my needs. PROS: - Large capacity (can fit 9x13 baking pan) - Simple controls that my grandmother can use. - Cool french doors that close softly with a little tap - Comes with 2 mesh tray/basket for air frying - Also comes with rotisserie hooks (which I need to try someday). CONS: - Thin metal frame causes it to get really hot. Only the handles and controls remain cool enough to touch after cooking, so be careful! - The drip pan stains EASILY. So keep it covered with foil or find another drip pan. - Cooking time is hard to be precise. It takes some practice to figure out how long you need to cook your food. Like I said, it's not perfect, but it was exactly what I was looking for, so I'm very happy with it.

This Galanz air fryer toaster oven is by far the most incredible air fryer we have owned! The french door design makes it extremely easy to clean and versatile in what and how you can use this appliance. So far, we have cooked "the usual" items, like french fries and frozen nuggets, pizza, fish sticks, and more. But we have also used the tools that came with the Galanz air fryer to make rotisserie chickens and Cornish game hens. The outcome of all of these items has been amazing! The chicken was so delicious and moist - not dried out at all. This air fryer is the size of a microwave oven but worth the kitchen real estate! Last night, we used it to prep the marshmallows for our s'mores and, as usual, the Galanz air fryer did not disappoint! This amazing oven does everything and it’s beautiful. I’ve been shopping around for an air fryer and convection oven combined. I found a few options, but I was not really impressed with the reviews nor the functionality of the unit. Then I discovered this Galanz oven and it does everything I was looking for and more. It’s a beautiful stainless unit with quiet close French doors and the cooking options are endless. Im obsessed with this toaster oven/air fryer. I have always loved deep fried food and hated the way it would make my house smell durning and after cooking. So the air fry option on this is my favorite and not to mention way healthier. Im excited to try the chicken rotisserie option next. My only downfall with it is the unit is a little bulky and I have a small kitchen area so it limits counter space but with it being a multifunction unit it also eliminates having to have other appliances out. So far, this toaster oven has been great for basic use. The only complaint I have (which is hardly saying anything about the actual product, hence my 5* review) is that IT DOESN'T COME WITH A MANUAL. The instructions are pretty basic so we've been using recipies and cooking times we find online for basic air fry and convection cooking. Also the doors do get warm/hot during use but the door handles themselves do not get warm at all, which is a common complaint I've seen with other brands that have French doors. The convection fan is super quiet, I actually opened the doors a couple times to make sure it was running because you can barely hear it. It cleans up super easy. Plus it fits all my bigger pans and dishes even though it already comes with a huge variety of pans. Overall this is a great oven at a great price!

Edited: This WAS a great purchase, but I've only owned it 7 months and all elements stopped working completely. I made cupcakes in it last week, worked fine. Tried to use it tonight and none of the elements heat. 2 on top and 2 on bottom, all dead. Amazon told me sorry, you're out of your refund/replacement time frame, so there's nothing to be done. For starters, this toaster is absolutely gorgeous with the French glass doors. I was worried that you would need both hands to open it, but when you open one side the other automatically slides open. The toaster is very large and easily fits a 9x13 pan or frozen pizza. It heats up quickly and stays lit during cooking so you can watch the food. I like that it comes with a basket and rack for dehydrating and air frying so you can pick what works best depending on what you are making. I love air frying in this! Fries and chicken nuggets are delightfully crispy and evenly cooked. The dehydrate function works perfectly as well.
