I bought this on line to replace a exact model.. My husband learned a very hard lesson on proper defrost methods... This is a great mini... but as stated in the paperwork manual...DO NOT USE SHARP OBJECTS TO REMOVE EXCESS ICE... Lol hard lesson learned. LOVE THIS REFRIGERATOR. Perfect size for our mother- in- law quarters.

Bought this fridge 6 months ago and it doesn't work properly turns off over night. I have to check it every day or whatever I put in it I'll have to throw out. We absolutely hate this mini fridge and would consider not purchasing anything else GE!
