I really like that this is Energy Star Certified and has a very good amount of space in the refrigerator side, however the freezer side is extremely compact. In addition, it is not counter depth, causing it to awkwardly stick out into my kitchen. Also, when the fridge was installed it was done so completely un-level (the front over an inch higher than the back), so the doors slam on me when I open. Have tried to have corrected with no luck yet. Overall, just an okay option, would not purchase again.

I am enjoying my new refrigerator! I love The fact that it is so quiet! It matches all my other appliances and keeps my food nice and cold! The freeze is a tad bit small, but I can live with that. Love the fact that I don't have to open it to get water! That's a plus!

I have issue with door not shutting tightly. It has to be given that extra push, that is forgotten about many times. We chose the side by side this time due to our health problems. It's going to take some time adjusting from french doors roominess.

Replaced an existing 23 year old 33" side by side with this refrigerator. Overall like the appearance, general quality, features. I don't find it overly noisy, though the fan is a little louder than the refrigerator it replaced. Ice maker dumping into bin is quite a bit louder than previous unit, but is only occasional sound so no big deal. Like all the adjustability in the shelving, and that the dispenser is recessed into the sheet metal unlike many other models. I also like that the dispenser like automatically turns on when the dispenser is used. Refrigerator seems much larger than the last one I had, though the bottom drawer isn't very deep (front to back) so lacks some utility. Freezer is indeed small, but so was the last one so I'm used to that. The freezer shelving isn't quite as useful though with a big gap between the bottom basket and the next shelf up, and the bottom shelf/basket isn't the full depth of the cabinet which is sort of weird to use (though I'm guessing this is for the compressor or other mechanical parts in the back). Lighting is a bit dim relative to last one. Took a long time to reach temperature once installed (maybe 8 hours?), but seems to be holding temperature well now. If it lasts nearly as long as the last one - I'll be a happy customer!

Did tons of research before purchasing a new fridge and this is what I ended up with. Very happy with my purchase from GE and it seems to be PCB free

This refrigerator replaces my previous GE profile refrigerator. It fits perfectly in the existing space and new feature is a cheese drawer. I gave it 3 stars because the shelf and drawers are not finished well and have sharp edges which I had to file down. The water drip tray is difficult to remove causing damage of the rubber molding around its edges.

Our ice maker doesn't work all the time. You have to turn off then turn back on to make it work. It doesn't stay operational. A screw fell out of freezer & we don't know from where See photos

I wanted this double door so bad, I made adjustments to the cabinets to make it work. I had a bottom freezer but age got the best of me and I didn't like bending over to see what was in the freezer. The LED lighting in the fridge and freezer is just right. I also use the water & i cubes daily. An added bonus was being able to open either door when the dishwasher door was down
