GE Appliances 33 Inch Freestanding Side by Side Refrigerator White Reviews

I've had this refrig. for almost a year. I've enjoyed the features, ice, water, etc. I would have given it a 5 star, but compared to my older GE refrig. it's louder when dumping the ice.I feel it needs more insulation so it would be quieter. The indoor compartments are more bulkier, taking up more space then older GE refrig. I do like how easy it is to clean, the clear glass adjustable shelves. .

I bought this refrigerator after I had two major appliances go out few days apart made by another company. So this was recommended by repair man to try a GE so here we are. I truly haven't had it long enough to see what it does my other one was not even two years old so this one better be a good one!

Still trying to get use to my new refrigerator after having the same one for 16 years, but so far so good. I love the alarm feature an the globe interior light.

Overall I like the refrigerator. I had to refer to the manual to find out that the buzzing/dripping/zapping sound is normal. Apparently this is normal sounds when it is defrosting. The down side is not being able to empty a drip pan. There is a small puddle that forms under my refrigerator that can only be wiped up by moving the refrigerator. The ice maker, when using crushed ice function, is noisy and takes a bit of time to get the ice to start but once it does it is good. I occasionally have to hit my ice on top of the bucket to loosen them up to get cubes since it tends to freeze together from time to time. Water does not seem to be chilled as much as my other refrigerator but that's what the ice is for i guess. Overall a nice refrigerator with three drawers and lots of shelves inside refrigerator. The freezer space is smaller than my other one but I have a larger freezer in my garage anyway.

Cooled down quickly and stays there. 0F on freezer and 37F on refrigerator side. Lots of room and the front door ice maker and water is nice and tall allowing for bigger glasses. The LED lighting is also a very nice touch that makes plenty of light on the interior.

Satisfied with my new refrigerator. Only complaint is that there is a gap around top corners of the display/control panel but not a deal breaker for me still looks good overall. Surface cleans up easy as well.

I replaced a refrigerator that was way to big for the space I'll get used to a smaller freezer as this new unit is deeper, it's extremely quiet!!! Unfortunately I had to trim my kitchen cabinet so watch that, but apparently everything is made that way these days if you have an older home you may experience the same issue, I sent an email to the appliance store asking them if GE makes a stop or if theirs an adjustment for the doors I'd like them to not swing quite so much. Overall thou It's way more efficient and much quieter.

Living the 2 different types of ice I can choose and the light is super cool.so far it's a great frig

I love the bright white outer surface of the refrig and especially the well-lighted interior. It was hard to find things in my old refrig. which only had one interior bulb. It is a good-looking appliance and I smile whenever I pass it!

We looked at many refrigerators and decided this one had the best features and the best price! My husband and I love the ice and water features in the door. The filter keeps both tasting great! This was the only side by side that had 3 refrigerator shelves and a deli drawer. The temperature in fridge and freezer is perfect. We couldn't be happier!
