This is a basic freezer over refrigerator model. It has a large capacity freezer as well as refrigerator. Its relatively quiet and functional with one major flaw. The clear lid to the butter compartment at top of door does not close with gravity and will not clear the top of the refrigerator if open and the refrigerator door closes. I found this out the hard way when I forgot the close it and it instantly cracked in half. I had only owned the refrigerator for 4 month. This is a design flaw that tarnishes what is otherwise could be a good refrigerator. I can't recommend this to any buyer.

With a major remodel of my small kitchen new appliances were required. As I was very pleased with my 29 year-old GE appliances I decided to look to the same manufacture. That said I completed research on all brands and discovered that only GE makes a fridge that fit in my confined space and as it stands next to the dishwasher I wanted the same brand. I am pleased with both but wish the new fridge had a deli drawer. Also, my old appliances were sold and continue to work well in their new homes which demonstrates the quality of GE appliances.

I have not used the fridge yet but it is so large inside yet fits so well in my condo kitchen I love the wide bottom door shelf !

Would have given five stars but I had to modify the ice maker so that it would make ice. Had to heat plastic arm that swings out to check ice level and bend down slightly so arm would not hang up on wiring.

We replaced a 17 year old refrigerator because the freezer wasn't getting to zero degrees. I have a 17 year old dormitory type refrigerator for pop and beer that is still going strong. A few years ago we bought an electric, glass top stove which I love. It's almost as good as gas. We live in a rural area without natural gas service.

This refrigerator works way better than my last one (not GE) side by side in terms of its cooling and interior room usage. I would recommend to any budget conscious consumer who is looking for a reliable fridge. The fridge is roomy and has LED light.

The last GE refrigerator we owned lasted twenty-two years. There was NO other brand considered by us. This model is rated to be more energy efficient than our 1997 model and she'll pay for herself in no time!

The refrigerator was working fine. As it was installed on May 2, 2018 and Friday 7/13/18 it stop freezing and Sunday 7/15/18 it stopped working. Lost all my food, just a mess.
