We needed a larger refrigerator to fit in a fairly confined space. We decided on this one for a variety of its features, including glass shelving, much more room in the doors, an external water dispenser, ice maker, and my favorite: the actual temperature of the freezer and refrigerator displayed when you hit a button on the console. The refrigerator is quiet and has worked superbly for the month we have had it (as of this writing.). This model was the higher end in the series and I'm glad I went with it. Very pleased with our purchase.

This was an "emergency" purchase for us. The refrigerator has lots of storage space and we love the water/ice dispenser feature! The freezer is a little on the small side, but in spite of that we couldn't be happier with our choice! Will definitely go with GE for future purchases!

So far everything is working good. Paperwork explaining how to control temperature is not specific to my model. Does not cover use or application of humidity controlled drawer. Someone gave a LOT of thought towards preventing shipping damage. Exceptionally well protected. Who wants a new unit with broken parts.

Great item, lots of space with the exception of freezer which is a bit small. So far it's working good, the only thing that I'm wondering and concern about and debating to see if it settles will be the motor which is a little noisy(3 months running) hopefully I don't have to call for service soon.

Due to space constraints in our home/kitchen, we were extremely limited in our options. This was, and continues to be, the best option at the time. The refrigerator interior space is very good, the freezer not as much but tolerable only because we have a backup freezer in the basement. No complaints at all about the ice/water dispenser- this was a mandatory feature for our household. The stainless door handle has scratched already and we've only had this unit for a couple of weeks. I am afraid of what it will look like in 10 years, let alone 1 year. But really the only complaint we continue to have is the high pitched whirling and pulsating sounds this refrigerator makes. I have tried to block it out, but it's a sound that is hard to ignore. Apparently it's from the high efficiency fan, and apparently it's a normal sound, but it still wakes me up at times in the night and makes it hard to concentrate while working from home. If it weren't for the noise, I'd give this a higher rating.

A very nice product. I replaced the bottom drawer type and went with the side by side version. I believe more food fits this version anyway and food can be placed in view instead of being covered up by pieces on top. Love the way the water dispenses and waiting for my ice to form which is also accessible from the front without opening the door therefore avoiding energy loss or sacrificing refrigerator efficiency.

Very happy with the appearance but have not really utilized it's components and space yet.

The ice maker spits out tiny slivers of crushed ice ALL of the time when using the ice dispenser on the door. It doesn't matter if you're getting crushed or cubed, it spits out shards of ice into the tray & on the floor. It misses the glass even when you hold the mouth of the glass as high as you can. It makes a mess in the tray & on the floor every time we use the ice dispenser.

My husband and I purchased this refrigerator because the old one had bad seals on it due to 30 years old. We also put in a new water purifier system & wanted a new frig to run our good water through to the ice cubes and water in the door. This frig fits in the same spot the old one did, but this frig is deep & has so many inside storage trays that I feel that I can never fill it full enough to use all the space. i call it my sleeping giant because it is so quite, I keep asking my husband, is it running! Everything is so easy to wipe down and clean out, we just love it. The freezer is also excellent because it actually is doing its job and not leaving frost on my items.

Ok. I'm still waiting for the plumber to connect the water system. So, I won't be able to comment in that area. Aside from that, this fridge is elegant and the storage area is well thought out. If I had one negative, i would say the lower 2 shelves of the freezer are too dark. Since there's only one light fixture, located at the top, it's hard to see what is what in the lower 2 shelves.
