The beaters fall out while mixing something and make a big mess. Food everywhere! Just recently purchased at Macy’s and tried it several times to no avail beaters will not stay in. Very disappointed ☹️

I am not happy at all i will return this when i get a chance, i don't know if its the rubber on the mixing arms but I have to put everything in a bigger bowl and it still splatters everything all over my kitchen. I have to pick up dough from cabinets....not happy

Not too heavy to hold. Happy it doesn?t damage my cookware; which was my main reason for purchasing this one.

Trying to settle down a little before I contact Hamilton Beach, however, hope to save anyone else from purchasing this item. I didn't think that one thing could ruin a Holiday meal (except that one relative). It started off with heavy whipping cream that ended up on walls, cabinets, me and, of course, that relative's silk blouse. The rubber coated beaters wobbled so badly and on speed 1, so I decided to try a deeper bowl and half of the cream to no avail. We all tried, in our 50s and 60s about 200 years of experience amongst us, and all gave up. Thought perhaps the thickness of potatoes to mash might be better, nope. Dinner an hour late, hand mashed potatoes and the lack of Mom's desert due to no heavy whipped cream, along with cleaning walls, cabinets, glass in picture frames really put a damper on the day. The Uncle that said "someday we will all be laughing about this" exited the kitchen pretty damned quick.

This Hamilton Beach hand mixer is the best you can find! It easily churns through dense doughs and perfectly whips pillowy batters. It comes with a few useful attachments like coated beaters that don't rattle against bowls and allow an easy cleanup process. It also comes with a convenient storage case that allows you to store your hand mixer and the included attachments without taking up much space in your cabinets. This hand mixer can quickly switch between 6 different speeds that will allow you to easily complete a range of different tasks. The handy quick release button for beaters also makes it easy to switch between the whisk attachment

I like my new Hamilton Beach Hand mixer with SoftScrapes. The hand mixer has good power and so far mixes things very well whether it is simple stuff like a cake mix or heavier mixing. It has a nice soft-grip handle and comes with three mixing attachments, and I also love the hard case that comes with it as my old hand mixer was just in a drawer and I like the neatness and organization of the case. The stainless steel housing and black trim are very clean and contemporary looking as a modern appliance. With 300 watts of maximum power, this is a powerful hand mixer. My old mixer was olive green and plastic so this is a much nicer look. The built-in bowl rest is great as it allow you to rest the mixer to free your hands when you need to add additional ingredients. The whish is great for whipping cream or making meringue with egg whites. My old hand mixer still works but this is a great upgrade and modern appliance for my kitchen so I can donate the old mixer to someone else. Love this mixer. I really find the interchanchable attachments an extreme plus. Having the ability to change from beaters, to whisk, to dough hooks was an extreme help. I also found the burst button, an essential feature for when your trying to mix up extra sticky ingredients. I also truly fell in love with the coated beaters, much more quiet, wether using with glass, or metal bowls. Not mention, being able to mix freely without worring about chipping my ceramic mixing bowls. Will gladly recommend, to all if my friends. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Everything about this mixer is great! The coated beaters are great because I don't have to put hot food items in a bowl to mix them so they stay warm longer. The new Hamilton Beach hand mixer is fantastic. It is light weight but very strong. Easy to control the speed on mixing and great burst tap for adding air to your pudding, cake mix, gravy! Great little mixer. Love the color. Seems to be a workhorse. The reason I gave 4 stars is it is a bit heavy for using for a long time...I made marshmallow fluff and had to keep changing hands. If this mixer is ever revamped I would like to see slightly longer beaters to keep the mixture off of the mixer. I do like that a standard item is the silicone coated beaters. Won't scratch even my stainless bowls and pans. The bowl rest feature actually works too! I was concerned it would tip bowl over but it didn't! I would definitely give this as a gift and recommend anyone in the market for a hand mixer to purchase it.
