The cup is short but it is comfortable at the same time. At the beginning it was quite difficult to attach the cup into the base, but its a great product to prepare simple things and small portions.

It has changed pits overall appearance. It used to be taller and thinner and the lid fit tighter. 8 have a small kitchen with very little counter space and the thinner model worked better in my limited space. However, I love the single serve since I make a smoothie for breakfast nearly everyday. Its quick and easy and then I use a straw to drink with, although I used to drink right from the lid, I like the straw better. Its easy to clean and ready to use the next day. I love it and would highly recommend to anyone that makes smoothies for one person...

I love crushed ice, and only wanted one for this reason...it really does the job. I had a large blender and it quit after just a few times crushing ice. The only thing I had a small issue with is that I wasn't closing it tight enough at first. To line it up correctly, you need to hold it tight and use some force. I was afraid it would break, but it is very durable.

I bought two of these a few months ago, one for my girlfriend and one for me. My expectations may have been a little high as the motor burned out in about three months. It worked great, but maybe I worked it too hard with frozen fruit and ice. I'm ging to buy another and take a little different approach. Other than durability, it was a great smoothie machine.

The Hamilton Beach Single Serve Blender is ideal. I use it to mix my fruit slushies every day. It is small and fits on my counter without taking up any space, and it cleans easily. Best buy ever!
