I have been using this coffee maker for over a week and I love it! I have been wanting a coffee maker that I could make a pot or a single cup and this does it all! I love this coffee maker. It has everything you could need to make a delicious cup of coffee. You can brew a whole pot, use k-cups and there is even a single use brewing contraption in the removable compartment. You can brew a large cup or small. You can set a timer and have it start on it's own. I will definately buy again for its versatility and ease of use.

This Hamilton Beach Two Way Flexbrew has been a great addition to our home. First of all, it looks very nice on the outside, very modern but classic at the same time. The control panel is very easy to read and use, love that there is a clock on it. The fact that a coffee machine is capable of brewing a single serve cup or a carafe is great because in the weekends we tend to drink more coffee, but during the week in the morning the single serve is perfect for our schedule. After brewing a carafe we can keep if hot after brewing thanks to the warming plate. The programming of the brewing for the carafe is awesome, we know that as soon as we wake up the coffee will start brewing and be ready by the time we need to eat breakfast. For the carafe side you will need to buy disposable paper coffee filters, at up to 12 cups I feel like is a good amount of cups for our family. Very easy to operate for both (carafe and single serve) and for the single we are able to also use the single serve pack or the basket for ground coffee, just choose how much water you want to use and pour it in the water reservoir, it starts at 6oz and up to a 14oz cup. You’ll be able to see the exact amount of water that you have thanks to the water window, one of each side of the coffee maker. The one feature that we like a lot is the brew strength, we get to choose between bold and regular, this feature applies to both carafe and single serving. I know for some people might be an inconvenience the fact that you need to pour the water in the reservoir every time you want to brew, but for me fresh water makes coffee taste better. The storage container is very convenient when switching between single serve pack holder or brew basket for ground coffee. I will also like to ad that is very easy to clean, we been using just hot water to rinse the baskets, no need for dish detergent. I think this is a great coffee maker that’s been working great for us and brews great tasting coffee, I will for sure recommend it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Flexibility is what this brewer is all about! We can easily switch between lots of cups in a carafe to a single out the door serving or both back to back. We previously had a single cup brewer so didn't have a way to test out some specialty grounds received as gifts--but now we can! I do have to say READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST. There's one little item of great importance in the notes---10 oz. is the MAX amount of water to have in reservoir for a single-serve pack. Although the reservoir will hold much more than that. Overfilling was a mistake we made right off the bat and had overflow coffee everywhere. One little important item that should be in bold and on the quick start guide that came with the brewer. In fact, pay attention to all of the proper amounts- water and grounds. Our brewer arrived with a broken carafe, so we'll have to find a replacement. This brewer's variety fits together compactly not taking up too much counter space. We've had another popular brand brewer for quite awhile, so we've had to make some adjustments to our habits, but with the extra options and flexibility that the 2 Way FlexBrew allows we have more choices in brewing that we find we really like! In my opinion, its an amazing coffee maker and I believe, one of the first dual style pots made. I thought this machine was so wonderful that I bought one for each of the coffee lovers in my family as gifts. Everyone has loved it so far. My granddaughter was the only one whose k-cup side stopped working and despite the lack of convenience of an instant one cup feature still likes the machine. I would have to rate this product as 5 star for It’s overall quality, design and durability. There is only one issue I have. That is, if my hubby brews a pot of coffee, I cant brew a k-cup at the same time without shutting off his pot. If each side worked independtly of each other, I would give this product a 10 star rating for the 5 or so years I have owned it. A awesome machine and I would recommend to everyone.
