Experience the taste of bold, flavorful coffee with the Hamilton Beach Stainless Steel 12 Cup Percolator. Before single serve and automatic drip coffee makers, there was the percolator. Remember the perking sounds of freshly brewing coffee? Better yet, how about the bold, hot coffee it produced? Coffee brewed in the Hamilton Beach Stainless Steel 12 Cup Percolator is still just as satisfying but takes a lot less time to brew than the percolators of old. This attractive stainless steel percolator stays hot with a gentle keep warm heater. It also has a detachable cord for tabletop serving, cool touch handle and no drip spout for easy pouring. A ready-to-serve light takes the guesswork out of when it’s done. The light indicates brewing is complete and keep warm mode has started.

After my pod machine died I wanted a more traditional coffee maker. I had been eyeing this one for a while and am so happy I purchased! Makes a fantastic cup of coffee and keeps it hot and there isn't any bottom sludge or burnt flavor like with some drip coffee makers, last cup tastes like the first. Highly recommend this machine to others.

I bought this coffee maker for my son-in-law as a Christmas gift and he is using it everyday and just loves it! Much better than a Keurig or Mr. Coffee - this makes really fine coffee and keeps it hot. I'm thinking about buying myself one but I'm usually a tea drinker. LOL

I have a small Proctor Silex percolator that is over 20 years old, but it is only 4 cups. I wanted a larger percolator. I have only used the new percolator once. A full 12 cups of coffee perks in 10 minutes which is great. The coffee reaches 180 degrees. It is not as hot as my smaller percolator which reaches 200 degrees. Over all this is a very good coffee pot.

Previously, we had a different brand perculator and this brand (Hamilton Beach) has "sturdier" parts and feels more substantial. It perculates quickly and the coffee stays nice and hot for hours without the coffee tasting bitter. We are very happy with this purchase and the price was reasonable too. Thank you, Walmart

I love this percolator. I was concerned that for the price it would be cheaply built. I was wrong. This percolator is quieter than my old Cuisinart. And brews a perfect cup of coffee. It doesn't float the coffee grinds out of the basket which is a huge improvement.

My 30 year old coffee maker (Black and Decker Under Counter Model) finally bit the bullet and died. I remember how good coffee tasted from my mom and dad's percolator, so I decided to buy one for my home. This percolator makes EXCELLENT COFFEE! It stays hot, the coffee is ready in a short time and it seems the coffee gets better with each pot! It makes from 2-12 cups with a water measuring device inside the percolator and a coffee measuring device marked on the outside of the coffee holder. I would recommend this product to anybody who likes a good, hot pot of coffee in the morning!

Although this is a nice coffee pot and it does make a good cup of coffee, the downside is no off/on switch, which requires plugging & unplugging it, no water window to see how much coffee to make and the water levels inside the pot are impossible to see. In hindsight, I think I should have spent a little more money to get the above. All in all, nice pot for the money.

We were looking for any coffee maker that would deliver a hot cup of coffee. The regular drip coffee makers just don't do it. Remembering that my parents used a percolator and that coffee always seemed piping hot, I decided to try this electric version. Glad I did. It's simple, inexpensive, and the coffee's great. Very happy.

My disappointment was it not having a water level indicater on the outside of the pot. I guess I read it wrong. The pot it self is smaller in size than my old GE that died. My old pot was over 10 yrs old, sturdier made & cost less but that was then. If this lasts as long as my GE then I can't complain!

I love my percolator. Makes a great cup of hot coffee every time. I cleaned mine first day with a cup vinegar and enough water to fill the pot and let it go through its cycle. Then fill again with plain water rinse through the cycle. Perfect HOT coffee in 7 minutes. I fill the pot the night before with the water. Sitting overnight get rid of the taste of chlorine in the water. In the mornings I just add coffee and plug it into the wall plugin. Helpful Hint: I use a wet paper filter and make sure it sticks to the sides of the coffee pot filter. This helps keep coffee grounds out of your finished pot of coffee.
