Slow cookers are great for cooking chili, soups and stews, but these "one-pot" meals are not the only things that slow cookers do well. They are also perfect for making side dishes and dessert, especially when your main oven is full, and they are great for foods that are not naturally tender, such as inexpensive but flavorful meat cuts. If you choose cuts such as chuck roast, pork butt, short ribs or chicken thighs, you won't be disappointed with the results of low and slow cooking.

The Stay or Go Slow Cooker offers additional thoughtful features that make traveling with your food to a pot-luck or holiday party a breeze, including a clip-locked, secure lid and tight seal for spill-resistant travel. Full-grip handles make carrying your dish to the party and back very easy. Back home, the stoneware removes for easy cleanup in the dishwasher.

I used it one time and now it does not heat at all. Lights come on, set the hours and temp, but will not heat....

I bought this slow cooker to replace my last one like it. One of the hooks had broken on the lid so that it could no longer lock down for transport. I was glad to find an exact replacement! I used it for the first time this weekend, and am satisfied that it will be just as great as the first one.

Large size crockpot is wonderful to cook for a large family or take to a pot luck. With the side clips on the handles, the cover can be locked for easy transport to any event. The crockpot cooks very nicely with no sticking or burning on the sides.

i made some beef stew in it for my first time and it was awesome. my only complaint is that it is very heavy. im a senior citizen however i will find someone to carry it for me. the package that it came in was a little overdone. tons and tons of packing material and a small box. the box was big.

Recently, I purchased this slow cooker as a gift for a close friend who has admired mine that I've owned for years. This crock pot is truly the best one on the market. I've cooked up to 6 lbs of roast beef in it, and everyone always raves about my pot roast. Cooking couldn't be any simpler. The other day I cooked 2 lbs of dry pinto beans in it, which turned out to be about 12 pounds once cooked. I had enough beans to share with several friends, and they were great! I love the convenience of being able to tote it around with the sturdy handles, knowing that the contents won't spill when the lid is securely clamped down, but when it's full, it's pretty heavy (depending on the contents), so you'll need some muscle to lift it. It's a great product and good value for the money!

After using my new slow cooker twice I have noticed that the black coating on the pot is starting to come around the underneath of the top that rests on the cooker. I also wish there was a way to lock the lid on to store it away in the fridge but the locks are only for when cooking apparently. It's much nicer and larger than the one I had before but I wish it would've been a littler better quality.

I purchased this slow cooker for its size and its securable lid because I often cook at home and then take the food to church potlucks. I've used the cooker only once, so I'll have to weigh in again later to make this review more valuable, but so far, so good. The food was properly cooked, and nothing spilled on the way to the church. Two negatives: I wish the unit had an on/off light, and I wish the lid did not have a long narrow space between the glass and the plastic handle, because I foresee problems with food residue getting stuck under the handle. I hope the gasket on the lid holds up well. I'm not sure what it's made of. If it's rubber, it undoubtedly will wear out before the rest of the unit; is it easily replaceable, or will I have to buy a whole new unit when it goes? Maybe it's silicone, which would be more durable.

This slow cooker is just what I wanted! Big 6 quart bowl, a lid that snaps on for easy traveling if needed and a sleek stainless steel look! Great bang for your buck! Ive already cooked several dinners in it and they turned out great! I would totally recommend getting a slow cooker.. They are so easy and convenient!

We have had this crock pot for over a year and we love it. I just ordered one for my parents. We make fork tender pot roast and BBQ in it on a regular basis and the food is always done as expected. They only time it wasn't was when the meat was still a bit icy in the center. Cooking times are for thawed meats. The crock removes and goes right into the dishwasher. I read on another site that it had a bad odor. That's because the person was locking the lid down during cooking. You're not supposed to do that. The locking lid is for transporting food. It is well worth the money. I do wish it was white (I think it was available in white at one time, but we couldn't find one. I also wish it had a medium setting and maybe a timer, but again, it is great for the low cost.)

i have been looking for a slow cooker with low price and large capacity, since yesterday i have been cooking all my tamale meat. the meat fell off the bone this morning, the juice was aplenty, all i had to do was add the next roast to the same jucies. the great seal on the lid kept the fluids inside. cleanup was so easy. it just great and really nice looking too. 4 stars on the features because i just wanted a temp light. i love it so far.
