Probably would have been better off with a 6 quartz. The 8 quartz is pretty big in size. Barely fits in my kitchen. However, having said that the quality is great. Because of the size it takes a while to heat and build pressure but I usually do other chores while waiting. Once pressure has built it does do really quick cooking. Love the sauté mode. Will definitely check out the yogurt function as well. Excited about that.

So far I've used this as a pressure cooker and slow cooker. It has been a life saver. I've cooked chicken and rice, oxtails, ribs, neck bones, stew beef and a roast. No complaints yet. I love the fact that it has a stainless steel inner pot. It also comes with an inner rack.

received a damaged product, The shipment box from Walmart and Product package is not damaged and Instantpot product is damaged inside, it clear that instant pot sends me the damaged product. I am not so happy with the product I received. It is difficult to plan return on this pandemic situation from warzone

I love the convenience of the Instant Pot. I've used it a lot and have enjoyed everything I've made. The recipe book that is included is useful. Before you buy, here are a few things you should know. 1. It's BIG! That's great, but could be a storage problem for some. 2. You need to purchase a couple of extra silicon seals. The seals take on the smell of spicy foods. Soaking it in a baking soda and dish soap bath helps a little but if you use the same seal for something sweet, you will taste the last spicy meal you made. Not good. You don't want your oatmeal tasting like your enchilada soup. Purchase at least one more and store in a ziplock marked, Sweet. That's the few things that are a bit of an issue. Enjoy!!!

I love the Instant Pot. The reason for one star for this item?? I gave it as a housewarming gift to my BFF. She used it once , and it died. Walmart has no more of the DUO80's in stock. I am totally disappointed and venting. Walmart is wonderful. The Instant Pot is a MUST HAVE. The one purchased was a lemon, and I will be returning it. I want replacement not refund, but I don't want to wait MONTHS for the replacement!

It has s stainless steel bowl that other pressure cookers didn't have. It does come with a cookbook but is limited with recipes and cook times. I recommend pressure cooker cookbook or googling recipes. It cooks great in grain, rice, and pressure cooker modes and learning more as I go. It's definitely a great time savor in cooking department and true to other reviews for instant pot. I have the 8 Qt and they don't make the 10 Qt yet. I wanted something bigger than 6 Qt that got all the reviews for and wanted to make bigger quanties if needed to. Not sure about canning yet, will experiment with time.

I've been hearing all the rave reviews around the internet for the Instant Pot and I have to agree 100%--it cooks healthy and delicious food in a fraction of the time! My family has food allergies and we eat a "paleo" type diet--lean meats and lots of veggies. I chose the Instant Pot brand over all the others because of the stainless steel cooking pot (which is still very easy to clean up!). I have recently started using it instead of my microwave to reheat foods -- it works great and the food tastes much better reheated in this over a microwave. Let's face it, microwaves are not healthy for us or our food. I am planning to remove microwave from my kitchen counter and replace it with my new Instant Pot! I can not say enough good things about this product! There are tons of info and recipes all over the web for all types of foods using a modern electric pressure cooker. I believe this product can help anyone bring real, unprocessed foods back into their diet.

I thought this was a "want" but quickly learned it's a "need" in the kitchen! Don't hesitate and wait to buy it like I did! It is worth every penny and more! I'd recommend getting a cookbook specific to this type of cooker so you start using it right away. Then you'll gradually get use to the cooker and come up with your own recipes. We have saved so much money because it's FAST and eliminates the need to eat out. This one item replaces a gazillion in your kitchen. We have a tiny home and therefore an item has to be GREAT and have multiple uses/functions to "stay" in our home! The instant pot made the cut after our first meal! I would put this pot up to any crockpot when it comes to cooking a roast and vegetables. It cooks the best roast I've eaten in my life and in a third of the time! Don't wait to be amazed by the cooking speed yet incredible taste! This is one product that won't disappoint you!

Love this Pressure Cooker. The food comes out so tender and flavorful. Pork ribs are fall off the bone tender. I highly recommend learning the owners manual before using, for your own safety. Also, I highly recommend getting some good pressure cooker recipe books. Follow the recipe's and you can't go wrong. The extra sealing rings are on back order, but it would be a good idea to have an extra one in the event that you damage the one that's on it. Love, Love, Love this cooker. Happy cookin Betty
