My go-to for brewing coffee. It's quick and convenient.

I had a good experience with this machine, but now it only brews a half a cup of the 8 oz. Is this a problem you can help with.

I bought this for the office but I'm going to replace my older model at the house with this one. I like the option for a smaller cup for just the right amount of water for making my instant oatmeal. Also perfect for a large 8 oz cup of coffee. This unit is similar to my older model and its going on 4 years of making at least 4 to 5 cups of cofee, tea, hot chocolate, or capaccino each day.

A whole pot of coffee at is a waste at my house, but the coffee always tastes better when I brew a whole pot only to have to dump some of it each day. The Keureg solved that problem.
The cost of the coffee is about the same since the pods can be pricey, but the coffee is now always at its freshest. But you have to find a place to store all those pods!!! I buy the largest box possible due to the cost savings.
Unfortunately, this model makes small cups of coffee, so I make two tea cup size cups in one mug from one pod. The coffee is good and strong and much hotter than our old coffee pot. This means I have to stay there with the pot to run the pod through the second time, The other mug sizes offered with this machine are still too small.
The water keeper is a bit small, so I find I have to fill it after about 3 cups (one pod run through twice on the tea cup size).
Since there is no carafe, I was expecting the machine to take less space, but it takes about the same space as my old maker did.
I tried the pods that you fill with your own coffee, but have yet to get the right strength. The coffee comes out weak and the grounds barely moist.
I have to keep a full pot coffee maker on hand for times when I have several coffee drinkers over, so that's more space required in the cabinet; plus the cost of the a whole pot brewing size coffee maker.
As far as I am aware, there is no clock therefore, no timer to start the coffee when you get up in the morning. But, it only takes about 4 minutes for the first cup to brew.
So that is 7 problems: # 1 & 2 - Cost of the Keureg and the secondary pot, plus finding storage space for the second pot. # 3 & 4 - Cost of the coffee pods and finding space to store the little buggers. # 5 - Extra time spent monitoring when to make the second run through of the water to make a full cup due to the small size of their version of a mug of coffee. # 6 - The size of the water keeper. # 7 - No pre-set timer.
Keeping that all in mind, the coffee is still better, fresher, hotter, faster. So I am glad I bought it. Next time though, I am going to upgrade! So, while I would recommend this pot, I would be remiss if I did not let them in on the short-falls also.

It couldn't be easier to use. It has the option of three different cup sizes, water doesn't need to be added for each cup, has a timer, which I haven't used and the coffee is a good temperature taste great. You can all buy the accessory filter to fill with your own coffee and not have to purchase the K-cups. I'm very happy with this Keurig Coffee Maker.

I put off buying this Keurig coffee maker off and on for a year. The price was so good at Sam's that I broke down and bought it. I am so happy that I did and think this model is excellent. I have had it a few weeks and I am delighted with the way it makes coffee.

I have owned a keurig since 2005 and have enjoyed it very much. I mentioned it to one of my brothers who has to always rush out to work without coffee. I decided to give this as an early Christmas gift and he is certainly enjoying it. Now he has hot coffee every morning to start his day.

Great coffee maker. Easy to use. Love the fact the water reservoir is so large. You don't have to fill it each time you want to make a cup of coffee. Also love the fact you can use any brand of coffee and not just the Keurig brand coffee. This was a major factor in this purchase. Brews a cup in just a few seconds.

This is part of their "Classic" series, the old Keurig brewer that you are probably replacing after x amount of years, without all of the new fancy schmancy technology that most people complain about anyway.
Newer 2.0 brewers contain chips and they scan for your coffee pods to "unlock" various types of menus and options based on the pod you use. They also only work with licensed K-cups, and not you local store generics. This can easily be hacked, but some people lack the will to do the simple research on how.
This brewer however, has none of the new technology. It simply heats, and brews coffee from any K-cup no matter where you purchased it, including the My K-Cup and other filters available for K-Cup brewers. It's the only unit they didn't "Fool around" with from the classic design if you will. Most people will find it a downgrade if you were lucky enough to find a Platinum or Elite edition with the LCD screen years ago, but rest assured, it still brews just like your advanced edition.
Just do yourself a favor and buy the warranty on this. Keurigs are notorious for mechanical issues. If treated right and fed the right water they should last for at least 3 or 4 years. Ours is going on it's 5th now, but showing signs of pump failure, reason we are replacing it. That warranty should help you never be frustrated if yours stops working and needs to be exchanged.
