My husband demanded filtered coffee after reading about the health affects of unfiltered. But I wasn't a fan of BPA residues in an automatic coffee maker, nor of the weak burnt taste after filters folded inside the maker. Tried a couple of pour-overs which clogged. This design is great - doesn't clog. I can have multiple ones around. Looks nice.
