I have used this only 3 times since purchasing it but it is a huge upgrade over my Hamilton Beach. Making bread in it is a breeze. Just got the Ice Cream Maker and it is in the freezer. I bought an Ultra Power stand mixer to replace the one I'd had for over 15 years. The worm gear broke, I bought a replacement gear, could not (after 2 hours of trying) get the pin out to get the machine open to replace the worm gear. So, I had to get a new Ultra Power mixer. My only complaint about the new KitchenAid mixer I just got is that it unlocks itself and bounces around while it kneads dough. My old one didn't do that. It's frustrating to have to hold the machine, when I should be able to walk a few feet away to get ingredients, butter a bowl, preheat the oven, etc. There's no KitchenAid service company in my state, and I refuse to pay the shipping to send this thing back. My oldest and youngest daughter have one and they were able to bake bread easily. That has been a challenge for me so my middle daughter and I just had to buy one each.
