We bought this blender on referb about a year ago. It has not let us down. It crushes, blends and purees all without a fuss. The ice crush feature is amazing, and the container is large. We looked at a big-name blender and decided that if this lasted even a few years it was worth it. There's no stopping it now.

I've been buying refurbished items for years and have good luck with them .I bought a toaster oven.a can opener and a coffee maker that were refurbished 20 some years ago and the can opener I just retired because I took it apart to clean and the plastic was briddel so I replaced it, the coffee maker worked fine,but it had a small leak and I couldn't get the part to fix it,and the toaster oven is still going strong.I also bought a kitchenaid refurbished stand mixer a couple years ago and I use it every other day This blender I use every day for somthing.I make up things just to use it. After trying commodity priced blenders, I decided to try this refurbished product. Great KitchenAid® quality at a great price. Machine works great, a real complement to our KitchenAid® stand mixer and food processor. Handles blending, chopping, pureeing and crushing ice very well. I consider this a real bargain! I've had many blenders over the years ranging from consumer to commercial and this by far is the best one I've ever had. The motor is extremely powerful, the construction although glass for the pitcher is extremely durable. It has ample features and is of consistent quality for daily use and mine gets a lot of use.
