Amazing cold brew maker! Love it! I recieved this item a few weeks ago and have already used it twice for make cold brew coffee. It is very easy to use, easy to clean, and fits perfectly in the fridge without taking up a ton of space. The fine mesh basket makes decliciously smooth cold brew, without the mess. The product is extremely high quality, made with great materials; stainless steel, heavy duty glass, etc. I believe this item will last for a long time. I can't wait to use it for tea as well! We thought we'd use it mainly for cold brew drinks but we love it on ice cream too. We have some everyday. Stylish and functional it's a pleasure to use and keep in the drive too the spigot works perfectly. We mix with sparkling water and also with cream. Amazing. Love this brewer. Absolutely no additional costs other than this unit to brew cold coffee or tea. Center has a very fine mesh filter to strain coffee. I get no fine residue. The spigot is tight and does not leak when turned in off position. Solid stainless unit,easy to clean, and the handle makes it easy to transport. My first brewer used oversized filters that were hard to find and expensive. This one's a winner.

I just brought this Cold Brew Coffee Maker and decided to make a cold brew and let it sit in my fridge overnight. However, the next morning the Cold Brew Coffee Maker leaked all over my fridge through the spout even with the spout turned all the way to the left. .. I wanted to love this product.

I bought this for my husband for Fathers Day. He did all the research and trust me he is a research fiend so if this passes with him it had to be awesome. I was actually a little excited for him to get it and start using it. He has done nothing but rave about all of it's features and has actually tried to convince me to get another one to make ice tea with. Purchased because of the size and easy dispensing feature and that it was stainless steel and glass - no plastic! Only issue I found is that the instructions only had the coffee and water measurements in metric. I had to search for a metric to cups conversion on my phone. I heard about, but was doubtful that I could extract a really smooth tasting iced coffee from this machine. KitchenAid, you proved me so so wrong! It's super smooth tasting, and the cold brew machine is simple to use. I was also worried about the fineness of my coffee grounds in my first test batch, but the filter is so super-fine that not one ground passed through! SO simple, SO smooth, SO perfect!!! This product will be critical to my wallet! I can easily brew it over the weekend and then it lasts throughout the week cutting down all my Dunkin' trips.
In the past I tried to do my own home cold brew, but I didn't have a great way to filter it and it took like 3 containers to brew, filter and store it. This KitchenAid system cuts out all of those and makes it a simple 1 container solution that fits on the shelf in my fridge. I would recommend this if you are serious about cold brew, do not mind having another appliance, and have room in your fridge to store it (my fridge is not very large). It is easy to use, nice design and solidly made. Instructions do say to use more coffee than I make at a time, however I adjusted coffee and water down and it worked out well. I used my Kitchen Aid burr grinder to grind on coarse (#2), filtered water and set on my counter for 24 hours. Was very tasty.
