I am a gadget person and I love my kitchenaid products (blender, food processors, and even appliances) but this is the second item that has needed a replacement part with minimal wear and tear. Now a $50 pitcher because mine leaks. I gave the blender itself 3 stars because honestly it works great when everything is together but I am on the fence about whether i should buy a new non kitchenaid blender or if it is worth hoping thr next blender pitcher will last longer. Seems like they should be more durable or cheaper to replace. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Love this blender!! Works for big jobs or small! Easy to operate, works so well, and easy to clean. Looks sleek, too. I use it for smoothies and for making food pouches for my toddler. Multi-purpose! Fast and simple. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

I love all the different speeds, especially the chopped ice speed. We make a lot of frozen drinks and this work wonders. We haven't had it long enough to use all the speeds. I like the plastic pitcher, it's light and sturdy. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

We use a blender several times a week, and wanted to upgrade from our previous "cheap" basic model. This blender has been an amazing addition to our kitchen! We use it primarily for sauces and soups. It does an excellent job, and is quieter than I expected it to be, given it's power. I have yet to try it for almond butter and more difficult tasks, but I expect it will live up to the challenge. I bought this blender about three months ago. I've used it once. It's so darn heavy to move, and I don't think it's cracked up to be what KitchenAid say's it to be. I have tried to cruch ice, put frozen fruit in, and the blades keep jamming. Not impressed, and would not buy this product again. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

First thing you notice is the weight......it's solid and works like a dream. I don't like to cook, consider it another job, BUT this appliance actually makes it fun. My husband and I took it out of the box and argued about who was using it first, instead of arguing about who was making dinner that night. We were looking for excuses to use it, so actually ended up making smoothies (we don't do smoothies!!!) (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

I was looking for a blender that could almost perform the work of a food processor, in blending thick liquids (e.g. such as a date and prune spread). This product works well. I particularly like the fact that you can either choose to disassemble and clean the pitcher components (blades, etc.) separately or to clean without disassembling. The pitcher is wider than most, but that is not an issue for me. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)

Great looking product but it's just not strong enough for smoothies. Often, frozen fruits remain uncrushed. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.)
