I had an other maker one cup coffee maker that bellied up on me. Needed a replacement so the research started. I opted for this Kitchenaid model. It's great. I can make a cup or 18 oz and share. Love being able to use my ground coffee, don't care for K-cups. Use it with a Melitta filters, clean up is so easy. The design of the water tank is easy to fill from either the tap or pouring it in from a cup. Liked the color selections also.

I'm so glad I bought this coffee maker for my mom....her old one was a personal one-cup maker also but it wasn't "arthritis-friendly" NOR did it have a insulated cup to keep her coffee warm; so, she had to resort to purchasing a mug warmer which ended up only being another thing to clutter her night stand. This new KitchenAid coffee maker is: * easy to use, * has a great insulated cup (so no need to purchase mug warmers!) * makes her coffee in her insulated travel mug so she can take it with her (instead of leaving the cold coffee at home OR taking a hot mug that's been sitting on a warmer)! * and it brews a great tasting cup of coffee! Plus...it looks great in our kitchen next to my KitchenAid stand mixer!

My personal coffee maker is just what I was looking for. I looked at other stores I couldn't find what I wanted, but then I found kitchenaid and it was a life saver. It works great, makes my coffee perfect all the time. I travel and I take it with me so I can make my coffee .

I bought this recently because now I live alone and did not need my big percolater. It is the perfect amount for me....2 cups. But, since I don't use it as a travel mug, but for use at home, I wish instead of shutting off when finished, that it would keep it warm. Small problem only.

Have been using this model for about a week now and am definitely enjoying the good tasting coffee. I do prefer using paper filters however and am finding that I use slightly less coffee than my last BD coffee maker. Seems that the grains get a more even exposure to the hot water. The coffee is really good and hope to be using this maker for the next many years.

It's been a month now since we purchased our personal coffee maker from Kitchen Aid and we couldn't be happier. It far exceeds our expectations. This coffee maker gives an excellent cup of coffee with a fast brew time. It is well made and just an all around beautiful appliance.

This is a great solution for me - it can be one LARGE cup of Jo or two smaller ones - my only complaint is that the cup is not as insulted as i would like to keep the coffee really hot - I put a sleeve on the cup and that helps - now I just pour it into a Bubba insulted cup I have that keeps everything hot or cold for hours - other than than, it exactly what i wanted - thanks!

don't waste your money with the other individual brewers. only wish i had found this sooner; i wasted of money until i found this. the only negative is the plastic cup it brews into. would much rather had a nicer, stainless one. so i brew into my own big ceramic mug.

I've had plenty of coffee makers...And was in search of a new one...I received this coffee maker as a gift...My search stopped immediately,,,The coffee is always fresh tasting and very sheek looking...And best of all...Easy to clean...Definitely a keeper...Thank you KitchenAid :)
