i love the design. it's a perfect match for the modern farmhouse look I'm going for. the power on this one is exceptional. whatever you're making it CAN do and quickly which is super important for me with a family of six. i hand wash mine which takes maybe a few minutes so there's nothing really to complain about. kitchenaid gets it right on this one and I'm so happy i bought one for our family. This is a great blender all around but it is exceptionally good for making smoothies. I am able to pack greens, frozen fruit and ice in the blender and then blend it until it's so smooth within seconds. This blender is much quieter than blenders I have owned in the past. It also has a removable top to be able to pour in items as needed. Simple design with excellent kitchen aid quality!! This blender is worth every penny! I am beyond thrilled to have this blender. Beautiful design and I am perfectly comfortable leaving it displayed on my kitchen counter top, no need to cover or put in a cabinet. The ice crushing component is everything I expected and more. I was very concerned about the plastic scratching with the ice but there is not one scratch. I have been trying the product out for a few days now.I must say I am so pleased and excited to do this review.I could not be happier.I love crushed ice.My old Hamilton blender left big chunks of ice it was very hard to enjoy a nice slushy drink with to many ice chunks.
This k150 kitchen aid is the bomb. The ice is crunched so nicely.The speed is amazing.I am looking forward to many more cool drinks in my future.Thanks [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I received the kitchenaid K150 3 speed ice crushing blender as a freebie to try and give my honest opinion. I'm a fan of kitchenaid products so I was excited to try this blender. I liked the design and the one simple dial to use. It's pretty compact if one wanted to leave on the counter. We're big fans of smoothies so I had to give it a try. I blended frozen berries, pineapple, yogurt, o.j. and milk and pulsed it a few times then I turned it to dial one to blend it smooth. It was so easy to use and worked really well. This is a high quality blender. My smoothie came out just the way I like it. My husband made one also and said it was different but he liked it. Really like this blender and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a blender with quality, power, and functionality. All for a good price. This KitchenAid blender works very well. It's easy to use and blends smoothies to perfection. I like the minimal settings which makes this perfect to use as an everyday blender when I do not need many features. There are only 3 blender speeds but I primarily use the third level when blending a smoothie. It blends very quickly on level 3 even when I use ice. The end result is very smooth texture with no ice detectable. I do wish that a tamper stick was included since I liked using it with my last blender. This blender is very nice looking. It has clean lines and is a nice grey color. So far I am very impressed with this blender. It's high quality and has just the right amount of power to use as an everyday blender for smoothies. Great great blender ! It has a plastic pitcher not glass . The lid is a bit hard to take off . My husband has to help unless I'm just weak .
Overall it does what it say it does blends half a tray of ice , great smoothie blender .. very powerful the 3rd setting I hope it doesn't burn out the engine .. I'm going to try and use it for other things maybe soups ?
The base is pretty big ... I wouldn't replace a bullet for this if u have a small space it's kinda big .. but it does blend great smoothies if that's what you want ! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
