Probably grinds fine for a drip, perk or French press but DOES NOT grind fine enough for an espresso machine. And unfortunate the basket that collects the ground coffee is plastic instead of stainless steel. For $80. I expected more. We only drink espresso based drinks so I am taking it back

Absolutely love this coffee grinder! It is well made and grinds your coffee specifically! I mean, this grinder will dial the fine-course preference of every person using it with a slight turn of a knob. The flavor seems enhanced and my chosen strength of coffee is consistent. Never before have I had such a precise grind. The best thing about this particular Krups grinder is the ease and simplicity of use, and it provides a virtual, mess-free experience.

A great little machine, grinds the coffee perfectly every time. My only quibble is that the static electricity generated causes coffee dust to collect on the sides of the output reservoir, a little messy.

Hate, hate, hate this thing. Very noisy, very messy. It doesn't matter what setting for grind type or amount to be ground you get the same amount at the same grind every time. The thing spills grounds. It's impossible to empty the ground coffee into a filter without spilling onto the counter. What a waste of money this thing was.

That’s right. Perfect! I’ve been using this grinder since it was released. I’m a former Starbucks barista and I use this grinder daily to prepare every pot. It allows you to change both the grind and the amount to suit you desire. The beans required to make each pot will save you the cost of this grinder in no time at all.

I bought this from the Sam's auction site and paid a lower price for this grinder. It has great features- a dial to grind as fine or coarse for the type of coffee maker you're using and a dial for how many cups you need. It stops automatically for the measure needed for the number of cups to be brewed. I didn't give it a five star as it's a lot of plastic and I don't know how well it will hold up long term.

I bought this on the Sams auction site, I read some other reviews, which said it didn't grind fine enough for expresso, but I don't make expresso. For regular coffee, it is an excellent grinder. You do have to experiment with it and the setting for cups of coffee should be more like a timer, but after you find the coarseness setting and the timer setting, you don't really have to change it and it works great.

It's a replacement for the first which I have had for a number of years. I love that you can adjust both the grind and the number of cups on this one little machine. Paired with my Bonavita coffeemaker, I have the best tasting coffee every morning. And both are small enough to fit into my appliance garage.

After 10 years of using a hand burr grinder because it tastes better, I finally found a decent electric model at a price that won't break the bank. This is an excellent buy for any coffee addict.

I bought this to replace my old, slow, noisy $200 Nemox Italian grinder. This one is quick and quiet, however the plastic collector tends to build up static and is hard to empty. Also, the finest setting is just so-so for espresso (could be finer) but still does the trick. Courser grinds all work fine. All in all, you probably can't do better for the price, but hard-core home barristas may be less than 100% satisfied.

Replaced a 25-year-old Braun and have been unhappy with new Krups finest grind being too coarse. New machine is quiet, though. Other competitors are more expensive. Only time will tell if as durable as the Braun.
