Very poor performance! When I received this grinder it was to replace one that quit. I tried to match up the wattage and this grinder had a higher wattage. I just spent this morning trying to grind meat for the first time and it was a huge failure. The meat was cut in small strips as this is best to do. After the first flow it all jammed up and would not push meat through the disc. The grinder itself turned out to be unstable and had a slight wobble when grinding. This might work for grinding crackers or cookies or bologna but nothing else. I spent most of my time grinding on cleaning out the tube and trying to get pieces of meat through. Do not purchase this model. I'm going to see if I can return it. A big waste of money. The two stars were because the delivery was quick.

My grinder arrived with only one cutter blade. There is no paperwork to contact manufacturer to get blades. How dumb is that? Grinder works ok, but only with one blade it is limited.

only grinds small pieces of of boneless meat. only needed to grind 5 lbs of raw chicken and beef. Shuts off due to overheating after only about 5-10 minutes, then you have to wait 20-30 minutes to reset. You get what you pay for.

I've only had the chance to use this machine once so far, but let me tell you about my experiences with it. It's a bit bigger than the pictures make it look, but way lighter than you'd expect. With the attachments removed, the motor unit is about the size of an oversized iron or a small toaster, but it's light and easy to move. The accessories are quite nice. While the 'pusher' is a hollow plastic affair that seems a little flimsy at first, It's only a tool for guiding the meat into the machinery, not for using force. The pusher doesn't NEED to be made more sturdy, and I actually find that the light feel of the pusher helps remind me not to use too much force. The screw, the main part of this machine, is SOLID METAL... which was an unexpected change from y past experiences with name brand meat grinder accessories. (the Oster Kitchen Center that I had for many years had a plastic screw) Grinding with this unit is a breeze. The meat I used was some "Pork Carnitas"... basically off-cuts of the least desirable pieces of meat. The grinder handled the meat easily, and the coarse cutting disc produced a nicely textured 'burger' that made a wonderful meatloaf. Cleanup too was a breeze. The whole meat grinder assembly comes off the motor, and the parts that touched the meat all break down into easy to clean bits. Even if you don't have a dishwasher (I don't), the parts are all easily cleaned. As with all appliances, the proof will be in how long it lasts, and how much use I can get out of it. An old piece of advice I was given was to take the price and divide it by the number of uses you get out of it. With a price this affordable, it won't take many uses before it's almost negligible. When I compare the price of pre-gound meats versus the bargain prices of the off-cut chunks of meat where you can choose how much fat you want in your end product, this machine will be paying for itself in no time.

The way the meats grind up and the sausage stuffer is plus and my machine is stainless and machine comes with all different size attachments so I give my meat grinder sausage stuffer a 5 star.
