I had the first version if this machine for 7-8 years and it was great. This one replaced it - It is awful. It spits and sputters it shakes and rattles. It barely makes 4 ounces of coffee. When I did some research - Many people have had the same experience. I returned it. Too bad. I still had a LOT of coffee packets.

When it comes to single cup brewers, it's always possible to get a bad unit. Read some Keurig reviews! My Flavia Creation 150 has worked perfectly for nearly three years. As for brewing different size cups, there's more than one way to do it. Most people complain about not being able to brew more than 7 ounces, so here's the solution. To brew a 10 oz. cup (actually 10.5), simply reinsert the packet and press the Over Ice button. This will produce a perfect large cup serving, similar to the the large size on a Creation 200 or a Keurig with a 10 oz. button. Want a 4 oz. cup? Just use the Over Ice button. It's also possible to interrupt the brew cycle by pressing the Regular button. This creates all kinds of possibilities. For example, after brewing a 7 oz. cup, reinsert the packet, press the Regular button and listen for the pump to run for 1 second and then 3 seconds. This will create a 9 oz. cup. Let the pump run for a second three second burst before interrupting and you will have a 10. oz. cup. It's strange to me that Flavia does not tell customers about such possibilities--they could have avoided a lot of negative reviews--but these "hacks" do work well.
