We love this microwave. It has features we didn't realize it had u til one day while cooking on the stovetop the fan came on automatically on the microwave. We were confused about why it came on and why we couldn't turn it off. So we looked it up. Turns out if the stovetop generates too much heat and the microwave starts to get too hot the fan will automatically come on to cool it down. It'll run its allotted time then turn itself off. We were trilled to find out about this feature. We love our over the stovetop microwave and would absolutely recommend it to others. We love all our Maytag appliances. We started out with a Maytag washer and dryer and love them so much we have been replacing all our appliances with Maytag appliances. We have recommended Maytag to everyone who asks (and evening some who don't lol) We even installed it ourselves. It came with a template to put under the cabinet and step by step directions. I bought 6 brand new Maytag appliances in the last two months, this is including the microwave which is stainless steel. Looks great in my kitchen along with the rest of the kitchen suite. So far I love it! It works great & I love that one of the features is a charcoal filter. Heats up the food quick while looking gorgeous at the same time! After a few months of use I noticed the lights inside flickering, which have now gone out completely. When I tried to use this morning, it is saying to close door and will not heat at all. Not happy right now! Neither is my 2 year old who's wanting his Easy Mac!
