THIS ONE IS A REPLACEMENT. THE FIRST ONE DIED AFTER A MONTH AND THE PUSH BLADE BROKE. WE LIKE THE COLOR AND THE PRICE AND THE BUTTONS ON THE FRONT . IT DOES MAKE ICE LIKE IT SAID IN 8 MINS.

We are big soda drinkers especially living in Vegas! We can spend lots of money hitting the local convenience stores around here. We've been looking into an ice maker that would make that yummy ice we are used to getting. Well we found this one from NewAir & we love it! As you can see, I stock up on the ice before making our drinks too. It's amazing, & it's not noisy at all. (I had heard that about ice makers) We couldn't be more pleased plus the price was right!

I purchased this unit after my earlier unit died. The earlier model was tremendous, which is why I went back to NewAir, unfortunately the model I purchased this last time is not nearly as good. It works okay, but I should have stuck with the earlier model instead.

This is the product that I needed. The kids were complaining about no ice in the freezer so I just took a chance and purchase and we love it!

Purchased the NewAir Portable ice maker a month ago. I use it every other day to produce 2-3lbs of ice for an outdoor cooler filled with beverages. So far, I've been very impressed. Once the bin is filled, I empty it into a bag in my freezer and within a couple hours, have all the ice I need.

I bought this portable ice maker cause the ice maker in our high end refrigerator freezes up after a couple of weeks and needs to be unthawed and requires a lot of maintenance. I have used this ice maker for two days now and have made 20 lbs. of ice. This ice maker produces ice as described. The only issue I have is when the ice is made it is not completely frozen it is in a soft state. You need to place a full basket of ice into a freezer bag and place in your freezer to become solid otherwise it will melt quickly. As of this writing I am satisfied with this ice maker and would recommend it.

My previous model had a capacity of 28 pounds, my new unit is 33 pounds. I guess I should not assume and need to ask questions. Even though the new units makes more ice, I have to keep filling it up with water more frequently, not because I am using more ice, rather the water storage is much less and the storage to hold the ice is less. Also, the ice lift unit broke after the second day, NewAir quickly sent me a new piece. Still waiting for the piece to arrive, not a problem. The unit is beautiful and makes great ice. One other item of note, the ice seems to melt much quicker than the previous machine, maybe I just need a larger unit?

I got this ice maker for multiple reasons. My husband and I entertain a lot so this is perfect for football get togethers, birthday parties and cookouts. I also got it because my mom has a small business that doesn't have an ice maker and this worked perfect for her needs! Great product and I love the ice shaped bullets. Super fun and yummy!

I received my ice maker from New Air a few days ago and I love it! Its packaged tightly to prevent any damage so be mindful of that when removing it from the box. I can already tell that this is going to be perfect for holidays and family gatherings. If you have any questions, the manual is pretty helpful. I also contacted customer service with a question via online messenger, and they were very prompt and helpful.

I have never thought I'd be so excited for a portable ice machine. It was so easy to assemble, you just have to take it out the box, clean/wipe the inside, plug it in then add water then in about 8mins you'll get ice. There's 2 sizes you can choose. Our ice machine recently broke so this is just so perfect! I truly recommend this product! First time trying newair & I definitely can't wait to get more of their products in the future!
