Ninja 5.5-Quart Air Fryer Max XL, AF161 Reviews

i bought this about a month ago and am very happy that i got it, especially this one. Since I've got it I made several dishes that I been wanting to; I can make small portions very quickly, with little fuss or muss. There are many more dishes I want to try and to discover. One of the best buys I ever made.

Welp, as usual I am a little late to the game. Better late than never though because this fryer has changed our lives for the better! Less cooking time, consistency with every fry and much less grease!! If this is any indication of how good Ninja products are, I'll be back!!! :)

I purchased my Ninja in November and I have only used my regular oven 5x's since. Yesterday (Father's day), I prepared my husbands fathers day dinner in my Ninjs. I used Bake and Air Broil. I made Ribeye steak (boneless) and veggies and baked potato. I have made fish, chicken, pizza, fries and much more. This was a GREAT investment and I am going to get my daughter one for her new place.I absolutely love it for healthier cooking and I do not even warm up anything in the microwave anymore. I have not used the dehydrate feature as of yet, but every other feature have been utilized. I absolutely love this purchase and I would definitely gift this 10x's over.

I ordered this online for my sister's birthday / mother's day gift. It arrived in time to wrap it and she texted pictures of her fried chicken that turned out delicious. Since I am also health conscious but love fried foods I plan on getting one for myself.

Bought this air fryer about 2 weeks ago, and holy smokes it's amazing. Had that new smell for the first few times using but it has since gone away. Have cooked so much and frozen foods such as jalepeno poppers and tator tots taste SO MUCH better than from the oven and cook faster (and not much heat in the kitchen!) Another fav is doing frozen hash brown patties that taste better than Mcdonalds! Found myself cooking shorter times than what's listed in the recipe book. Like many other reviews say, it takes time to figure out how to work it and also helps to have a thermometer. Also, I found it not too big or too small; can fit a whole bag of Ore-Ida taters in. SO glad we went with this size. Buy one the next time it's in stock!

Use for every day cooking. I can't remember the last time I turn on my conventional oven. It is so fast and it cooks so juicy Even my kids comment on it. Anybody who have children I would highly recommend this product to them.

I tried sweet potato fries and breaded butterfly shrimp, they turned out good. Ninja advises to shake the basket and they're right. Last weekend I tried the air broil feature on 4 bacon wrapped fillets, well see for yourself after 4-5 minutes per side.

y food without the guilt I have been wishing and dreaming to find the perfect air fryer. Dreams came true the day the Ninja AF161 Max XL air fryer arrived on my doorsteps. It's perfect size for my family. It matches beautifully with everything in my kitchen. The large nonstick 5.5-quart size basket holds enough for me to complete dinner in less time. I dont have to wait on 2-4 batches to get ready. Since opening the box I've prepared meals everyday. From hot wings, fries and a slab of country style ribs. The next recipes are catfish, dehydrated pineapples and a cake. The owners guide and quick start guide that includes recipes are very easy to understand. I was able to unbox and start cooking in 1 night. I was so nervous the 1st time I used it. I was gentle opening ut. Bo need the handle is large and strong. The buttons are firm and theres no way to accidentally push the wrong button. It is not cool to touch, but you dont have to fear burning yourself if you do touch it while it's on. It's not extremely loud it's the same sound as my microwave when it's on. There is no greasy smell. Clean up is easy I like having the option to wash by hand or using the dishwasher. First I want to say I have never used an Air Frier before. It was definitely a learning experience, but once you get the hang of it there is no going back. It is huge! It can fit a whole bag of frys inside easily. It crisps up the frys perfectly! It is very easy to use. It comes with a cute little booklet of recipes which is convenient and teaches you what to set each item on. Cleaning is just as easy. I would definitely buy again! I got my new ninja air fryer today and boooy was I excited. It's totally decked out with features from baking to dehydration and all in between. Was packaged very nice and tight. And I've already used it and made myself done crispy tots... And they wher done in 5 min. I'll have to get used to the temps and times, but it automatically went to 20min, and after 5 I started smelling them, checked them and they wher already cooked perfectly! I'm so stoked...next will be chicken breast and wings... This will be great come football season... Then on to make jerky and fruits for me and my pups and family.
