TOO LOUD!! OMG, are you trying to wake up the neighborhood ??? BUT!!! This thing makes the best smoothies, lol. I bought it to make green smoothies and vegan ice creams. But I've only experienced the smoothie and purée functionalities and the best! If it was less noisy this thing would be perfect. It suctions to the counter, so I left the plastic under it to move it back an forth. Because it's too tall to fit under my cabinets.

I selected Ninja Profession Chef Blender CT800 primarily for smoothies. So let's begin w/ that. This blender is INCREDIBLE! I've had the regular kitchen blenders, the bullet type blenders and an earlier model Ninja. None of them came close to the power and efficiency of the CT800. Got frozen fruit in the bottom of the deep freezer? Throw it in there and stand back. Got kale or spinach and you usually end up w/ little pieces that don't get blended? Not on the CT800's watch. The CT800 positively pulverizes anything you put in it. What I like the best about the CT800 is that you just press it and forget it. There's a dial that has 10 settings, e.g. Smoothie, Ice Cream, Frozen Drink, Soup etc. You turn the dial to the setting and press the button. You don't have to stand there pulsing or stopping and starting. The CT800 just gets to work. Each setting has it's own time limit. So you can push the button and go on w/ your day. The second best thing is the cleaning mode. Just put some water in it, I like to add a splash of dish soap and push the CLEAN button. The CT800 is idiot proof. There really are very few cons. It's super noisy so morning smoothies will wake up the whole house. You really have to have to make sure you have enough liquid in there. You know how you can hear it working, but nothing is moving. That's a THICK smoothie. Just take out the stopper thingy on the top and pour in more liquid. We haven't tried everything yet, but we will be trying all the other modes. I wanted to upload videos but the files were too large.

I have used a Vitamix often at my daughter's home and was thinking of purchasing one for myself. I am pleased I didn't as the Ninja Chef is just as good. I have been using the Ninja Chef every day for a few weeks to make smoothies and puree fruits and vegetables and it works great - the clean cycle works great too. It is a little noisy but so was the Vitamix. The only con so far is that the suction cups make it hard to move around on the counter but I work around this by placing it on a mat.

This is a blender obliterates any & everything you set in it's path. This blender comes with a 72 ounce container & a myriad of modern, technological, functionality. The unit comes, tightly, packed in a very attractive box that requires a little effort in removing the item as it's so snug. This appliance comes with ten, very diverse, settings where you can make a number of item soup to ice cream. One of the functions, which I enjoy, is the manual setting mode which gives you control of the speed setting from one to ten when blending. The Ninja Chef comes with a bonus ninety two page booklet with fifty recipes in detail & in color. The booklet has a little weight to it as it's chock full of interesting new ideas & traditional favorites. Other attachments are available for purchase, the attachments that come with your Ninja Chef are shown on the top flap of the box which contains the unit. All of he attachments are dishwasher safe & the pitcher can be washed by hand. Air drying the attachments & the pitcher are recommended by the company. I would, highly, recommend the Ninja Chef to anyone in the market for a modern multi faceted blender.

According to the definition, a Ninja was usually on the lower side of nobility and the Samurai Warriors were assigned to the higher nobility in Japanese tradition. This bad boy is definitely in the higher nobility as it is loaded with features and is big in stature! My picture is of our old blender next to the Ninja Chef CT800. It almost dwarfs the other blender! It handles so much more quantity and with no lack of power no matter the task, from nuts to grinding up grains it doesn't skip a beat. Too many features to mention them all but a few of the highlights that most any other blender does not have is the "Auto-IQ" button, which after you set dial to one of 10 settings, you push this and it automatically starts and stops when it feels the product is blended. You can also set it to "Manual" and then push the "Start" button and you control speed of blender by rotating the center knob, while a speed indicator is illuminated on upper left of display. It has a "Timer" setting, that by pressing adds 10 second increments and then automatically shuts off. A "Pulse" button that when pressed and then setting the desired speed with the knob, will start and stop the blender by pressing the "Start" button. (It will only run when start button is pushed in.) Again a nice safety feature and you totally control when blender runs. Many more features but too many to list in a review. I would definitely recommend this blender to the novice or professional. Tons of features, a cool recipe book, a "tamper" for pushing material down in to blades, and a 1 year warranty rounds it out.

The Ninja Chef CT800 blender have been known as a one of the best blender ever around my community but I never got to experience personally until NOW!! OMG! I am lost for words. I love the way it makes my smoothies & drinks. It doesn't leaves chunks of fruit or ice. It blends it professianally. Be careful the blade is very sharp however you can put just about anything inside and it does it majic. This blender is very special to me...I soo love it!!

The Ninja Chef CT800 is a very attractive and stylish high speed blender. It came delivered by FedEx in a well packed box. It is taller and heavier than a standard blender. It is easy to use and the instructions are well written and straight forward. The recipe booklet has some great suggestions for cold or hot ingredients to use. If making something hot in the blender it is suggested to not use the pulse mode. No assembly or tools required just wash the plastic pitcher which has the blades on the bottom, (the blades can not be removed it's a one piece design), the pitcher cap and cap lid. If using the dishwasher it is recommended to place both lids on the top rack for cleaning. Make sure the bottom of the pitcher is completely dry before placing on blender base, be careful the blades are very sharp. There is also a clean mode button on the blender base activation dial panel for future cleaning. The tamper rod is a nice tool to use, it is not long enough to touch or damage the blades. There are suction cups on the bottom of the blender base, making it hard to move once placed on the counter. To remove place hands underneath and lift up toward your body. A vacuum lock lever design would of been a better choice to remove base from counter. It seems to have a strong and powerful motor. The only gripe I have it is extremely load, especially on the kitchen tile counter top. Since it is so tall it has to sit on the kitchen side bar, even to tall and heavy to be inside the kitchen cabinets. The 72 oz capacity pitcher is big enough to make milkshakes or smoothies for 3-4 people in one batch. All ingredients come out smooth and well mixed. It is superior in quality than other high end blenders, (I used to have a Vitamix Blender years ago the motor went out on it and I never had it replaced). It would make a great addition to any kitchen for a healthier way to enjoy fruits and vegetables.
