the Ninja Ultra Prep PS100 is easy to assemble and the directions and suggested menus make it an easy machine to use. It is also easy to clean after use. I have made nutrition drinks (pictured) as well as whip up dough for cookies! This is a great addition to any kitchen

I love the versatility of this Ninja Ultra Prep appliance. It includes 3 different blades to be able to make your chunky salsas, smooth sauces, and even prep your cookie dough! It has a fairly large capacity, but is a little more slender and light weight than the larger Ninja appliances out there, which I like. It gives you measurements on the side of the jar and a max liquid fill line, which is handy and a mini storage container to store the high-speed blade and provided cleaning brush for the power pod. This set also includes a handy recipe guide with 25 recipes to really get you started on using your Ninja to prepare fresh food and drinks so quickly and easily. The only drawback I found is that you do have to push down and hold the power pod manually to work, unlike a traditional blender where you can set it and walk away.

The NINJA food processor is the easiest and best food processor I have ever used. The processor I used to use, would put me near in tears just trying to get it set up right to use. This NINJA processor is so incredibly easy to use, it makes cooking fun again. You just load the food into the container, put the lid on, then put the motor on top and plug in. To use the processor/blender/mixer, you simply press down on the top of the unit. You use short bursts at first, to start chopping/blending/mixing, then hold it down a little longer to complete the process. It blended ice down nice and smooth, for a fruit smoothy, and it did it quickly. I made a batch of cole-slaw quickly, and with no problems at all. I am amazed on how quickly this food processor made the cole-slaw, and the slushy. All parts of the processor wash easily. The bottom of the unit has a ring of rubbery grip, that really held it in place on my counter top, while I was using it. The blender blade comes in a nice protective case, that will protect you when it is being stored. The handle is a comfortable grip, and there is a pouring spout, that makes it easy to pour your drinks into your glass. The processor comes with a nice recipe book, that has some good recipes in it. This is the one cooking appliance that I will always keep handy, and that I will be using to make a great majority of my meals.

This is a food and drink maker that comes with 3 different interchangeable mixing blades. You can go through mixing dough, to a blender, and even to a food processor. It comes with a 700 watt power pod, a splash guard, 48 oz. jar, a high speed storage case, and a recipe book. It has one simple pulse button on top to use and it is as simple as just pressing down the pulse button and go. It first comes with the High-speed blade. This blade is used to make smoothies, dressings of all types, and will even puree. It does this with an ultra-fine result. The next blade will be the Total Crushing & power chopping blade. This blade will create a fine chop and a coarse chop. It can turn ice into snow or if you desire a textured puree, this is it. When using this blade to make snow, always use ice that is frozen and that hasn't been sitting out and has already begun to melt some. You begin with adding ice to the pitcher and use short pulses to get the large piece broken down. Then continue to pulse to get it to the snow consistency. To grind meat, you should cut your meat pieces into 1” pieces. Use the chopping blade with 3 pulses and then chop continuously for 30 seconds. The third blade is the Dough blade. This will be to mix your dough and also mixing up different batters. You can mix up to one pound of dough. You can also use the dough blade for making pizza dough, pita bread as well as many other dishes. You also get included a power pod cleaning brush in its own case. It is suggested that you do not use hot items into your pitcher, because it can cause an unsafe pressure build-up. This maker is so easy to use. I made a strawberry, blueberry, banana, & yogurt smoothie. I added ice (and the next time I will skip the ice part) then the fruit and added the yogurt as the last ingredient. I just pressed the pulse button on and off until it was the consistency that I wanted. The ice was ok, but unfortunately it did not get completely crushed and it added a little more water than I desired. If I use ice again for this smoothie, I will add already crushed ice instead and see how it works. This smoothie had a great taste and I am anxious to try all the different combinations. You really do not need a recipe for this, just add what you like and just go with it. This was so easy to clean up. You just have to lift off the power blade first, then the splash guard, remove the blade and you are all ready to clean it. This unit is hand wash & dishwasher safe. To clean out debris, you can use the bristled end of the cleaning brush from the base of the power pod. You need to use the pointed end of the cleaning brush carefully to remove stuck on debris. You should carefully rinse the cleaning brush after each use and let it air dry. I just love my Ninja Ultra Prep and I know this will lots and lots of use!

I have been using an older version of the Ninja system for about 4 years now. It has been a wonderful addition to my kitchen routine. It has allowed me to make many different recipes. However, we mostly use it for smoothies and drinks, etc. I have used it a few times for chopping, but not that many. I liked this system, but I have found that it takes up a lot of space. Also it can be a bit much changing out the attachment your using based on what recipe you are doing. I love that this version of the ninja has one vessel to chop in which makes storage so much easier. I have all the pieces to my old Ninja (4 vessels, 4 blades/dough hook, and motor) in a lower cabinet and it takes up most of the space in that cabinet. With the Ninja Ultra Prep, I can just leave it on the counter, assembled and ready to use. There are 2 blades and one dough hook for the Ultra Prep system. One blade for chopping larger things and one specifically designed for smoothies/drinks and sauces. I also like that the motor is on top of the bowl/vessel. All you have to do is push down on the motor on top, and everything blends smoothly. I've made several smoothies in this machine and it crushes ice, chops veggies, and incorporates everything very well. I have also used it for chopping veggies, and I was surprised to find it was quick and painless. It made cooking a breeze. Just be sure to pulse when chopping to get the right consistency. Another perk is the sound. My old Ninja is a bit noisy, but this one is very quiet. I can use it during nap time and not wake the kids. The only issue I have found is there is a case included to hold the smoothie/sauce/drink blade when not in use. However, there isn't one for the larger blade when the smaller blade is being used or the bowl is being cleaned. It's not a big deal. You just have to find a place for it where no one esp children will get hurt.

This blender can handle all of the normal n is a blender not just a blender? When it is a Ninja. All of the features you expect to find in a powerful unit. But this one goes further. For starters, the Ninja blender seems to be designed upside down. Instead of the motor in the base supporting the blades and pitcher, the motor sits on top. The result is a stable unit that is capable of pulverizing ice, making smoothies and even kneading dough with the correct attachments. We tried several of the recipes included with the unit and they all seemed to work well. I have included pictures of the Broccoli Slaw we made right out of the book. If anything, the blades on the Ninja worked too well. Using the recommended amount of pulses, we almost turned the broccoli into a smoothie. The second try allowed us to make some minor adjustments and it turned out perfect. Clean up was a snap thanks to an included brush to get into the little nocks and crannies that would be otherwise hard to clean. Once you get a couple of those cornices cleaned up, the rest can head into the dishwasher. Overall, this is a solid performer that would work well in any kitchen.

Pro: - Very easy to use - Power Pod very small - Good size Jar - All-in-One Mixer: Crush, Chop, Blend, Dough and Batter mixing - Even though this blender has some inconveniences (See cons), I think they can somehow be overlooked and it's still worth it Cons: - Measuring guide on the jar is located at the opposite side of the handle which isn't convenient - Max Water Level on the jar is written for right handed people - Lid not easy to open when hands are slippery - Can't use Jar as container (Unless cover it with Plastic Film) because Lid has a hole to connect the blade to the motor pod so it might spill if the cup is knocked over or someone might spill inadvertently inside the Jar through the hole on the lid - Can't remove the black part (handle and below) from the jar so if by any chance the black part is cracked or chipped over time, it might be dirty inside and can't be cleaned in between. - A small box is included to cover one blade but there's 3 blades total, even tough the third blade isn't sharp and not metal, having something to contain all the blades would be nice, especially if one blade is used more than others and they are blades not spoons so they can't be left anywhere. - Power cord is way too small, I wish it was longer and retractable - Storage use around the same height than any other blender unless if the Lid is covered by anything other than the Power Pod like plastic film (It would convenient if the pod could be put inside the jar when not in use) - If only there was a box which can (manually or electric mechanical) clean, sharpen and contain the blades for people who don't have dishwashers

I received the Ninja Ultra Prep PS100 for free for submitting an honest review for the SPARK review program. The Ultra Prep arrived promptly, was well packaged (double boxed) and in good condition. The assembly directions were easy to follow and the included recipe book was helpful. I have used it to puree frozen bananas and yogurt for “ice cream, to chop apples and vegetables, so far it has worked extremely well. I like it's small size and the ease of taking it apart to wash and to reassemble. It now has a permanent place on my kitchen counter. The photo is after my first day's use of the Ninja for “ice cream”, chopped apples and onions. I love that the power module/on button is on top of the container easy to use, easy to remove and clean. Also, it's small “foot print” is a real plus with my limited counter space.
