This does not flatten the dough ball to more than 3-4" in diameter no matter how much pressure you put. and it stays thick.
Be aware that the return policy is restrictive. I did not know that or would not have bought it. This cannot be returned to any Walmart store. Has to be shipped back WITHIN 14 days of delivery. I had not even tried it by then.
Now I am stuck with it. I guess I will donate it and take the tax credit.
