Does this stop popping on its own or do you have to manually turn it off to avoid burning?
You must flip the mechanism to unload the popcorn once it has slowed or stopped popping; otherwise, the kernels will continue to heat and eventually burn. The warming lamp will keep the kernels warm so they can be enjoyed even if the "cooker" is switched off. This gadget is fantastic, and it's a great novelty to have for the money.
How or what can be utilized to keep the popcorn warm?
That is the only drawback I can think of for this unit. We produce popcorn frequently and distribute it out according to people's sizes so that it is always warm.
If we want to manufacture kettle corn, may we add sugar? Will that damage the machine?
Make sure to add it at the same time as the oil, though.
Make sure the sugar is melted before adding the kernels.
As soon as the popper is warm, wash it out thoroughly because cleaning it after it cools down can be difficult.
