This little machine looks really nice and pops well. The first time we used it, it seemed like there was an excess of unopposed kernels, but after re-reading the instructions we realize hadn't given the unit enough time to warm up. After that it works great. Fun to have real movie popcorn at home. This our 2nd machine, as we gave the first one to our son after letting him use it a few times. We have found it is worth the money to use a good quality vegetable oil, purchase Lou Ana buttery topping and use Flavacol popcorn seasoning. That's what gives a real theater taste.
