The NuWave Duet is a great kitchen value add for folks who want an all-in-one device to pressure book and air fry. Although it took longer than the instructions stated, the air fryer was able to turn completely frozen chicken legs to a beautiful golden-brown in less than 25 minutes. The Duet features a myriad of 300 presets and smart functions, as well as the ability to save over 200 of your own settings. You can pressure cook, air fry, or pressure cook and then air fry to finish. There are two separate lids for the machine required to perform both functions, so the footprint and storage space required is a bit more than you'd need for a device that's completely self-contained. In any case, the results are great and the machine is easy to clean given the removable 4qt stainless steel bowl inside that keeps everything contained. Highly recommend this device to anyone looking for new ways to prepare your food aside from the cooktop, oven and/or microwave. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Absolutely wonderful! I've used the Nuwave Duet a number of times now and I am in love. The pressure cooker portion is easy to use and makes for a quick easy dinner. The cleanup is a breeze. My favorite part of the Duet though is the air fryer. Amazing! Food tastes just like traditional frying but with a fraction of the oil. So much healthier! Overall the Duet is foolproof to use. It's fun to cook new recipes. You can use the presets or enter manually. Just press a few buttons and you're dinner is off and running. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I've been wanting to try an air fryer for awhile, they are so popular right now. I made the homemade chicken tenders from the included recipe book and they were delicious! Only 12 minutes to cook, crispy on the outside, moist on the inside. Definitely healthier than pan frying and faster than baking. The owner's manual is very detailed and a little intimidating, the combo air fryer/pressure cooker has so many features, it will take awhile to try them all out. I appreciate that many of the parts are top rack dishwasher safe. I look forward to trying many of the recipes provided, and experimenting myself! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I love my NuWave Duet, it has quickly become the most used appliance in my kitchen to speed up my cooking. The pressure cooker has been essential for me in making soups which would have otherwise taken hours to make. And leftover soup is so simple and easy to warm up with the warm function. I have make oxtail with this as well and the meat is fall off the bone compared to when I oven bake oxtail. The pressure cooker definitely makes it more tender and infuses the flavors more thoroughly. The air fryer is really great because now I can make food without frying and it is definitely a healthier option. I made potatoes with the air fryer and it is very delicious and crispy at the same time. I am excited to try the recipe book that was provided with new recipes over time. This is definitely my most essential and go-to appliance for cooking. Old recipes have been elevated to new heights with the NuWave Duet. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

You're probably thinking "is it really possible to have an air fryer and pressure cooker in the same appliance?" I'm here to tell you that the answer is in fact a resounding "YES! And it's nothing short of amazing!" I feel like the air fryer and pressure cooker are the 2 hot kitchen gadgets for the last 2 years or so. But who wants 2 big ole appliances taking up space in their limited kitchen? Well, this guy is the solution to all your problems. Its gonna save you space by combining 2 gadgets. There are so many recipes now for both air frying and pressure cooking. I had no idea but you can seriously cook just about anything in this thing. I haven't even touched the surface it seems and I use this thing all the time. So many features!! The unit itself is kinda bulky. I don't leave it sitting out on the counter because I dont have a ton of counter space. But it does look sleek and somewhat compact when it is sitting out. To transform from one to the other is really simple. You just have to switch the lids and either insert the air fryer pan or take it out. It comes with a stainless steel bowl insert that you use for both pressure cooking and air frying. I like the functionality of the stainless steel. It cleans up nicely even if stuff gets stuck on it. I did have a slight issue with the air fryer lid one time. It kept saying there was an error but it was more like there was just a little catch in something. I just had to kind of wiggle it to make it work. I like the easy push buttons and the turn dial. Makes it easy to adjust time and temperature. Several built in programs available. There are so many features of this thing. You can basically replace your stove with this appliance and do everything you need to. I've cooked chicken thighs, wings, breasts etc. Everything comes out moist on the inside and crisp on the outside how I like it. Really good for foods you would normally fry. You get that crisp without the dripping grease. The healthy factor is really appealing. But also convenient and quick with an easy cleanup. I've also made hard boiled eggs, casserole dinners, soups, quesadillas, tacos/burritos. The air fryer option is great for heating things up and not getting them soggy and mushy in the microwave. I have heated up frozen waffles, pizza, fries etc and they all come out tasting fresh and crisp and not microwaved. This would be a great product for a college kid who doesnt cook a lot. Easy to use and hardly any cleanup...win win. Also would be a great wedding gift or something for a single person who doesnt want to get a lot of dishes dirty. But for me, I use it for my family. It's a large size and holds a lot of food. Enough for my 3 person size family and some food leftover. I probably use it at least 3-4 nights a week and I've really enjoyed finding new things I can cook with this product. I know theres even more features and possibilities I haven't explored yet but I enjoy trying new recipes just because I want to see how they will turn out. This is a great product. Well made and high quality. Kind of intimidating to use knowing there are 2 seperate products essentially. It did take me a while to figure it out. I feel like the directions are detailed but it didnt help me get started. I also got hung up on the preheat option for the pressure cooker. I thought the PH on the screen was an error message. It took me a while to realize I had to wait on it to preheat. Other than that, I have no complaints and I'm very happy with this product. It's made my life in the kitchen a little easier. Highly recommended this product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I have loved cooking with this Duet! It is easy to use and clean. I love that it has so many options. It comes with a bunch of preset cooking times... I have used them for rice and bacon and they both came out wonderful. It also has the ability to add your own preset times and temperature. I love that you can pressure cook and air fry. You can also do a combination of the two. So far everything I have made has been yummy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I would really like to love this product. It ccoks nicely in both functions, is very easy to use with all of it's pre-programming, and it even comes with agreat little cooking guide and cookbook. Problem is I just can't love it because tit is just plain TOO BIG! It takes up too much counterspace when in use, and too much storage when not. I would much rather have a separate Air Fryer and a seperate Pressuer Cooker. The Duet is a nice idea, but not a fan of the implementation [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

I was able to use a NuWave Duet and provide my opinion on the product. I read the brochure telling me all the ways this can be used. I read recipes included in the product box showing me all the delightful foods that can be made in this pressure cooker/air fryer. I first experimented with fresh potatoes cut into fries to get my feet wet using a machine like this for the first time. I was easy to see how to change the controls, they light up in a nice blue hue and have a very nice looking appearance, decent size and easy to read. I found the instructions a bit lacking. They advise you can do "both" for certain items like fresh potatoes: do a little pressure cooking to work through the fresh, raw potatoes and then air fry them to get a nice fried taste crispiness. I found that they didn't really instruct you well on how to do the combination "cooking" if you will. A bit more description would be handy, especially if this it the very first time you have ever touched or used a device like this to ensure you are doing it correctly. They tell you that you will combination cook, but not the best way to do this, especially going from pressurized cooking to air frying. Do you have to remove the pressure? How to do it safely? It is automatic? What to watch out so you don't get burnt, blow up stuff, etc. The air fryer, I was thinking it was going to be very noisy, but pleasantly found it to be not bad. I would probably season the product prior to air frying to give it flavor. Not thinking about it, there isn't an oils to "catch" any salt if you were to use that or Parmesan. Other items were steak, bacon, and wings. I found them to be a bit easier, but again the directions were a bit lacking for someone with absolutely no experience. It is a bit of trial an error trying to use these items It is cumbersome in that the size is quite large. There are 2 "lids" that you will use, depending on what you are making. You have the pressure cooker-type lid and you have the air fryer lid. I get why the difference, but considering how most kitchens just do not have a boatload of extra space to store cooking devices this large. When not in use, I do not have it on my countertop. Even if I did, I wouldn't know what to do with the second lid, as 1 fits on the device at a time. There are decent accessories included to help with different cooking. There is a lot of versatility with it and I hope I can gain some good working knowledge of the device to make items and have a decent product come out. Even so, with my minimal usage thus far, I find that the items I have been making are turning out decent, juicy, no grill burn or pan searing or charring, and they have been very nice to eat. I look forward to really getting to know this unit, how to use it more efficiently, and to be able to really create some great products. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
