Operating at an ultra-low speed of 43 RPM, this Omega vertical juicer cuts and squeezes ingredients efficiently to break down fiber and yield the maximum amount of juice with a minimum amount of pulp. The powerful 250W motor and reduction gears combine to produce twice the crushing force of most low-speed vertical juicers, so you get a smoother nutrient-rich beverage in your glass. The Omega VSJ843QR Vertical Low Speed Juicer is the world's first patented juicer utilizing Slow Squeezing Technology (SST). This technology extracts the maximum amount of nutrients, vitamins, taste, and juice from a minimum amount of fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, even soybeans while leaving less pulp in your juice. The low speed 43 RPM minimizes heat build-up and oxidation. Screen design ensures pulp is broken down into a finer consistency. Juice Fruits, Vegetables, Leafy Greens, Wheatgrass, Cherries, Pomegranates, Beets, etc.

This is my first juicer and yes I love it. I've juice at least once a day in the first three weeks of ownership and it has not disappointed me. My only complaint is, it takes just as long to clean it as it does to make a single serving of juice.

The Omega Low Speed Juicing System VSJ843QR is a pleasure to use. My 1st juicer, I'd be looking at it for months on line. So expensive ! I got my income return and decided to do something nice for me. I am SO Very happy I finally "just did it". Couldn't be more pleased with all the features and ease of use. Thanks Omega ~ still feeling slightly guilty about spending so much on myself

Hello. This is the 3rd juicer I have owned. The 2nd omega. By the way my first still works fine I just wanted to try this because it juices slower, stores juice in hopper and also has larger discharge and juice capacity. It has not disappointed me. The machine self fed giant carrots with ease. It ate about 10 lbs of carrots in less than 15 minutes. Don't hesitate to buy this juicer. It is the best I have ever used!

I bought the juicer about a month ago and wanted to use it for fruits/veg and wheatgrass, but the wheatgrass gets tangled in the top of the juicer and I have to stop the machine, take the top off to untangle the strands of grass. This happens every time and I have tried every way possible to feed the grass into the machine with no luck. I have cut it into tiny pieces, in half, thirds and still it does not just go through and juice. Very frustrating. Any suggestions?

Prior to purchasing my first juicer, I wanted to make sure that I invested in the best appliance for my purposes. After ALMOST "reflex" purchasing a Breville and spending marginally less for the model I was going to buy, I did a little browsing of reviews and the decision for me was easy. For me, if I'm going to put the effort and money into organic vegetables and fruits, I want the most nutrition value possible. Because of the VSJ 843's slow speed and the process of literally squeezing the daylights out of everything, far less oxidization and much better yield of leafy greens. I'm fine with chopping and prepping for juicing. Cleanup is getting faster as I develop shortcuts, like saving my produce bags from the grocer and use as a liner for the pulp output. Right now I'm doing "Mean Green" style juicing so Kale, Cilantro, Parsley, Cucumber, Lemon, Celery, Apple & Ginger. After cutting this juicer has no problems and performs well. I have juiced carrots as a "dessert" and I did need to cut some enormous organic carrots down lengthwise, and it stopped a few times. Just a quick press of the button to reverse and done. I tend to juice about 1 liter each morning which I drink 2/3 right away (because it's awesome) and I end up with a tall glass for later which I cover and place in the refrigerator for later. Prior to drinking the second glass, I stir it as it tends to separate into multiple layers and thus far the taste has been great and pretty much identical to the first only colder. It is expensive, however based on nutrition, reputation and warranty I found this to be the best value for me. Good Luck!

I am not new to vertical slow juicers having used a well known brand name one daily for nearly 3 years. I just moved back to the States and the voltage is different so I needed to get a new one. From online research I decided to buy the Omega VSJ843QR (I think the red is gorgeous). The first thing I noticed is that all the parts appear to be of a very high quality. It's easy to assemble and very quiet to use. The first item I juiced was oranges. I used to be a little dissatisfied with the way my previous juicer (Hurom HU100) handled oranges...mainly with the amount of juice left in the pulp. The Omega did a near flawless job with the oranges. The pulp was extremely dry and the juice was the highest quality I could imagine! I don't want to make this too long so I will just say that I juiced a combination of some romaine, chard, endive, and apples and the result was nothing less than impressive. The same can be said for the carrot juice I made. Both juices turned out creamy and smooth and basically pulp-free. The only thing that I have noticed thus far that I think could be improved upon is to provide a handle or some other way of easily carrying the Omega. If you are familiar with vertical slow juicers you will immediately notice the technical improvements in the new Omega and also the improvements in overall quality. Cleaning this juicer is not a hassle, especially in addition to the self-cleaning feature. If you intend to buy a juicer I would say this new Omega VSJ843QR would make a fantastic choice!

This has become my "go to" juicer. As a reference point I've juiced every day for fourteen months. I started with a Jack LaLane, now burned up, and still have a Breville Multi-speed; Omega NC800 and a Kuvings Whole Slow. The VSJ does pretty much everything but on soft stuff like a cantaloupe I needed a bit of carrot to push the last of it through. It did watermelon no problem though. The more I juice the less fruit and more vegetables I do. This does leafy greens and even wheat grass easily. Verts have a reputation for leaking and I once got a drop our two out the bottom but I slowed down the feeding a bit and no more leaks. This puts less pulp in the juice than my other masticating juicers. I still strain the juice but most folks with masticating juicers strain. This is the easiest juicer to clean among all I've used. If you're used to a centrifugal ejection juicer there are a few adjustments to make like straining juice and prepping the vegetables. It's worth it to me. The difference is like Bud and craft beer. They will both get you where you want to be but one does it more smoothly.

I'm not into pulp - actually I hate it. But this juicer gave me the SMOOTHEST juice ever ... with fiber. It really did break down the pulp to a super smooth texture. Like silk. Omega - you're the best.
