The Omega NC800HDS Premium Nutrition System is a “masticating-style” juice extractor and more! Masticating juicers juice at low speeds of 80 RPM minimizing heat build-up and oxidation. The auger system forces produce into a tight chamber, grinding and pressing the food to squeeze out the juice from items as fine as wheat grass and leafy vegetables. With a Nutrition System you can also make all-natural nut butters, baby food, soy/nut milks, pasta and a variety of healthy snacks. All parts included to make all-natural nut milks, nut butters, frozen fruit sorbets, pasta, baby food, minced herbs and ground beans. Cold press juicing is one of the most effective ways to easily access nutritious enzymes and antioxidants that boost immunity and enhance overall health. Don’t eat your fruits and veggies—juice them! Get a day’s worth of vitamins in one delicious juice! Use your food efficiently by juicing, using the pulp to cook with, and utilizing fruits & veggies for juicing that you might otherwise toss when they have slight softening.

I am a seasoned daily juicer with both horizontal & vertical juicers depending on what I am juicing or making. Purchased a couple weeks ago. Easiest juicer to clean than any other. The pulp is not dry enough for me so I use a nut bag for maximum juice. I juice celery daily and own the VSJ843S plus 2 of another brand. Wish Omega would offer a celery attachment for this juicer as well as their newest horizontal one. I cut up celery in small pieces instead of inserting whole produce & find this works nicely as I can load the top with cut produce & walk away. It will juice by itself without the tamper. It saves lots of time even with cutting the produce & using a nut bag to get the most juice. It's EASY to use & to clean. I normally use a sieve to stain as I like a pulp-free juice. Another plus, its make in Korea! Where items are made is a consideration in my purchases. Love the warranty! Customer Service has always been as expected. This juicer is a tried & true item.

I purchased this OMEGA NC800HDS following the recommendation of my nutritionist. The product by itself looks very sleek and modern. However, the performance didn't meet my expectations. I juice mostly celery and it was a complete disaster. I am convinced there is poor design in terms of the screen which is a very limited area where the juice can go. On May 5, 2020, I requested a Return Authorization Number and I am still waiting for instructions. If you are looking for a good celery juicer, do not buy this particular model.

I've had mine for 8 years. It is excellent for wheatgrass, fruits, veggies, pretty much anything you can throw at it. I do wheatgrass shots a few times a month and this machine gets a lot of juice out of it. I've had to replace 2 parts....in 8 years. Very much worth it. I would highly recommend this juicer to anyone.

Super disappointed in the quality of the components. With minimal use the screen cracked ( they said it was covered under warranty, but charged me for the replacement part) and now the black funnel piece broke off the feeder tube. Both times the parts broke were when I was just starting to do a cleanse....both times this machine has failed me. All the attachment pieces are cheap and flimsy and shake when turned on.

Such a pain when I use wheat grass. Even in small quantity the grass doesn't get pushed forward enough. It stays on rotator arm and this is what happens (it force feeds itself). Other than that I had enjoyed using this Juicer with all adequate veggies and fruits. Hope Customer service is helpful.

I've been juicing for about eight months now, and I've been saving up for a masticating juicer for four months. I finally took the plunge and got the Omega NC800 today, and it's without a debt the best investment I've made since I bought my car! I went a little crazy after unboxing it and made different juices for all my family members. My two-year-old niece even tried the purple cabbage juice, but wound up opting for plain apple. Then I tried grinding coffee, which worked like a dream. I like a very fine grind, which is exactly what this produces. I would not recommend using it to grind beans for a French press, but for me it's perfect. After the coffee, we made a frozen mango puree and a sundae with frozen bananas, roasted peanuts, and cacao. It blew me away. We even used this to make mashed potatoes (mixed with avocado instead of butter) and they came out so creamy! I don't eat a lot of pasta, but I'm sure the Omega will stand up to the task should I ever decide to make my own. I'm definitely going to get my money's worth from this machine.

I really love my Omega juicer, but recently I started to incorporate wheategrass juice into my diet and it have been a pain because my juicer screen get spandex and broken in a short period of time when juicing wheategrass.

I juice everyday. I have had this juicer for about 2 years and every 6 months I have to order a new screen. I cannot juice wheatgrass without the screen breaking, i have to cutt up the wheatgrass and its a pain. If they can come out with a heavy duty screen it would be great. I am going to start looking for another juicer that is better for wheatgrass.

This is an excellent juicer for leafy greens. High yield and easy to clean. Compared to my Omega VRT400 the juice has a stronger green taste probably because the VRT400 mixes the juices. The only negatives: the NC800 does not come with a strainer and soft fruits such as pineapple can get struck even when backpressure is reduced with the adjustment dial.

If you are looking for a good juicer, you won't be disappointed with the nc800. If you are looking for an all in one juicer/pasta extruder/nut butter press, you are out of luck. You will need to buy a stand mixer and food processor as well as a juicer.
