I upgraded from my cheap hand mixer that lasted me 15 years. I bought the Oster, had good reviews. It lasted me 4 years. Now I know why they only give it a 1year warranty. Gears stripped out

I used this mixer just over 1 year. I loved this mixer's storage bag, high power, and special whisk which I used a lot for whipped cream on the keto diet. When my children came home for Christmas I mixed Christmas cookies dough (a first since I am on keto diet). Before I had all my cookies mixed, my mixer broke! The one gear seems cracked allowing the beater too much wobble room so that it gets caught in the second beater. A mixer should be able to survive 1 Christmas!

The first time I used this mixer it jammed on and would not turn off. I ended up having to unplug it as it was smoking and never did allow me to turn it off. Very disappointed in what I thought was going to be a good heavy duty mixer.

I bought this mixer at the local Walmart because it had all the features I wanted in a mixer and I needed something quickly as my mixer broke in the middle of mixing up cake batter. Only one of the beaters would rotate therefore, it would not work. When you took the beaters our and turned on the mixer you could see that only one side was rotating. I bought this product because I have a standing Oster mixer that has worked for almost 30 years, which was made in the USA. This hand mixer I just bought was made in China. This piece of junk is going back to Walmart tomorrow.

After reading lots of reviews I chose to purchase this mixer a little over a month ago. The inclusion of the accessories and storage bag is nice, especially for the price and brand. It is on the heavy side and somewhat difficult to handle. I like to bake with my kids but my youngest (just turned 8) couldn't use this mixer due to the weight and power so that is a con for us. I used the mixer several times a week until it broke last night. Mixing cake batter for a strawberry shortcake, it made this sound like the beaters came loose or something, I turned it off, took them out, put them back in, it still made the noise; it is broken. I also tried using the dough hooks once or twice but that was a bust. I thought this mixer would be able to handle cake and cookie mixes but it really struggled with thicker mixes. I wish I would have just put the money toward a stand mixer.

I received this a few weeks ago to do a survey on. It is a powerful mixer yet a smooth start for the wish attachment.. When mixing dough the motor didn't bog down like others do. Great miser all around from design to features.

I bought this mixer cause it looks great and seems to have all the features I wanted. This mixer is not a cheap mixer so I had great expectations for it. I was so excited to try it! I plugged it in put it in the bowl with my cake mix and it mixed for about 1 minute. I heard some kind of a weird noise inside the mixer and it sounded like something broke loose in it. The mixer then stopped working and one of the beaters just fell out. I cleaned it up and tried to get it to go back in but it would not stay. I am very disheartened about this. I really liked this mixer and was so excited about it. If I was you I would save my money and buy a different mixer. This one just didn't meet my expectations at all.
